Hess says police searched Oliver Stephens Public School following her reported disappearance. He also says it is standard practice to search the family home as children are sometimes still in the residence.

Hess says by midnight there had been no advancements in the case. They set up a liason with the family in case they received any information.

Woodstock police received a video from College Avenue Secondary School. Family members and staff at Oliver Stephens Public School identified Tori as the girl in the video walking with a woman in a white coat.

WHY was he "extremely concerned"? Was he more concerned than when they had other calls about other kids who hadn't arrived home straight from school? Why was he extremely concerned?
 
The search for Tori quickly expanded and soon 8 different police services were involved.

Police in Woodstock sent the video from College Avenue Secondary School to a special unit with the OPP to attempt to enhance the video. Laura Perry, who testified Tuesday, was identified by staff at Oliver Stephens Public School.
