I think MTR is a good liar. I think he has told his lawyer he is innocent and he has a lie for everything that has been said. Some story. Look at all the women he fooled. He fooled a lot of people. I dont think it matters if he is a lawyer or not MTR is a good liar and manipulator to get things to his way. JMO

The other thing is that lawyers are not supposed to lie to the court. Every defendant has the right to require the state to prove the charges against them, but it becomes very diffcult for a defense lawyer if the defendant tells them they are guilty. It puts the defense between a rock and a hard place, if the lawyer is ethical. So... a defense lawyer never wants a client that says straight out they are guilty unless there is an affirmative defense.

If the defendant does that, then the defense lawyer has to find a way to represent the defendant without lying to the court. Not an easy task - not impossible - but not easy.

But why does he need to make money of his own, when CS is providing him with all the money he seems to need... I think the FB status, is referring to something else... IMHO

because she was earning the cash to be further invested in their other sideline which he was looking after...namely drugs..every time he needed a cash call she made a deposit... it seems through TLM he was finding other contacts...who knows maybe they were also working for MR sort of a pyramid scheme and TLM and CM would certainly know where all the druggies were...JMO why invest at a bank rate when you could get 200% on the street....

The crown has called Natalie Lebovic.

RaffertyLFP: Next witness Natalie Levbovic

RaffertyLFP: Lebovic is staffer at Genest Detention Centre in London

RaffertyLFP: At 5:03 Rafferty withdraws $80 from ABM at Petro-Can in Guelph

RaffertyLFP: From 6:35-7:11 pm Sptizig sends BBMs to Rafferty's Blackberry but not received, no outgoing calls from Bberry at that time [via Twitter]

Rafferty, seconds after the BBM from Spitzig, withdraws 80 dollars from the ATM at the Petro Canada.

Spitzig sent 4 BBMs to Rafferty between 6:35 and 7:11. Not received until 7:46.

the extra $20 for a rainy day?

RaffertyLFP: May 16 Rafferty calls five car rental companies and later BellWorld

Rafferty made 6 calls to London car rental places on May 16th. He called Bell World twice between 5:92 and 5:08

RaffertyLFP: At 7 pm Rafferty went to Bellworld to get another Blackberry

Before 7, Rafferty went to Masonville before 7:00 with Jessica Meloche, looking for his new phone.

On May 18th, Rafferty calked a drug associate of McClintic's. Only a 42 second call.

hmmm time to split town after that audio interview....JMO Things are heating up!

Unless of course it is the biggest case in the country at the time and the lawyer wants the publicity and the possibility of an acquittal on his resume. I don't believe for a minute that defence lawyers have those kind of scruples regarding their job.

MOO

I do...

RaffertyLFP: Lebovic is staffer at Genest Detention Centre in London [via Twitter]

She works at Genest Detention Centre.

She worked there in the spring of 2009, knew Terri-Lynne McClintic.

RaffertyLFP: She had job of escorting McClintic in May 2009 to Woodstock courthouse

RaffertyLFP: Lebovic said McClintic was handcuffed and taken to Woodstock in van

She escorted McClintic to court in Woodstock in May of 2009.

McClintic is handcuffed, in a secure vehicle, during transportation. She was there May 14th and 15th.

Except ... drug use, dealing, cash infusions, and a plethora of women seem to have been somewhat of the norm in MTR's usual day-to-day activities. Thus, his "good things" prediction doesn't seem to me to relate to how his average day transpires. JMO

Thank you SB. My statement was poorly worded. What you said above is what I was trying to say. :)

Yes agree in a perfect world, defense lawyers are supposed to follow the code of ethics same has witnesses to tell the truth too but that doesn't always make them money.

RaffertyLFP: Lebovic said Woodstock courthouse has no screening security

Woodstock court no use is a heritage building, "not secure like here in London", Carnegie says. She agrees.

There are no metal detectors in Woodstock.

The conversations don't relate to the abduction. Just the timeline. So you won't be hearing from these people unless the defense wants to drag them in to talk about how normal he was being...or how horrified, whichever.

MOO

Well..........I don't know.

Defense drug debt theory? Calls to TLM drug contacts before abduction?

Not relative? Maybe........maybe not.

Hard to tell when we don't know what the conversations were about.

JMO............

wonders what the pill was that TLM said MTR tried to pass her. JMO

Lebovic and her partner were asked to escort McClintic for the whole hearing.

McClintic was sentenced, but last third was under a community supervision order in 2008. McClintic breached it in 2009.

RaffertyLFP: Lebovic said McClintic was in court because of breach of conditions for last third of prior sentence which was served in community

RaffertyLFP: Lebovic said they were waiting outside courtroom. McCllntic in handcuffs and restraints

She was arrested, had hearings on May 14th, 15th.

McClintic was restrained during appearances.

RaffertyLFP: On April 12th McClintic arrested- the next afternoon there were five texts from Rafferty to McClinitc and one short call around 4 pm

On April 12th, McClintic was arrested. On the 13th, Rafferty texted McClintic's phone (also used by her mom).

RaffertyLFP: In each of these days there about 100-200 calls texts, BBMs to and from Rafferty's phone

...he's got a cold sore!

RaffertyLFP: Lebovic said Rafferty and Carol McClintic showed up at McClintic'shearing. He talked to McClintic,

McClintic spoke to two civilians, her mother and Michael Rafferty, she called him her boyfriend.

RaffertyLFP: Lebovic said Rafferty was there about 20 minutes while McClintic was sitting on bench outside courtroom
