Not looking good for defense for bring those songs up and even producing the wording, play the songs in court for the jury. Then accusing TLM to listen to the one song as she walked away from the school with Tori to MR's car. JMHO

I know the defense said she listened to Necro music, and I think I remember reading somewhere that either she said, or the defense asserted that she listened to her iPod that day earlier in the day, but I don't recall reading that anyone suggested / testified that she listened to Necro while walking away from the school with Tori to MR's car -- did I miss that assertion somewhere? If I did, it wouldn't surprise me, things move very quickly and sometimes its hard to keep up! If there is a link to where it says she listened to it as she walked away with Tori, pls someone post it as I'd be interested to see it, especially since there was a parent who testified earlier in the trial that she saw TLM and Tori walk past her as she waited for her own children after school that day. She said there was no conversation between Tori and TLM. If TLM had her headphones on and was listening to her iPod as she abducted Tori, that might explain why they weren't talking! :twocents:

Speaking of dancing...ever wonder how a gangsta drug addict from Woodstock and Northern Ontario knew there was a Fred Astaire dance studio in...Oakville was it?

Strange that she would write that in her journal just all on her own without any discussion with the dance instructor dude who used to live in Oakville. :waitasec:

MOO

There's one in Oakville. http://www.fredastaire.ca/pages/oakville.php

I seriously do not picture the accused child kidnapper/rapist/killer doing a fox trot or a waltz.

I think it was suggested by Derstine that she was listening to those songs, he made a big deal of it when he was cross-examining her, but TLM said she wasn't listening to Necro that day.

Ok so lets make and add to the list of "jobs" Rafferty said he had or is believed to have had

Can't wait to hear what he actually did do as a living

-Contractor
-Landscaper
-worked a better beef in Guelph
-Dance Instuctor
-was said to be in college working towards a Veterinary Assistant
-Caretaker (for his Mother) & TLM's Mother
-Possible drug traffic

jmo

i want to see tax returns!:twocents:

Anyone have a link to support this? TIA

We don't need a link here - there is no reason to bring a child into this discussion. It has been posted previously in MSM and was discussed, briefly, several threads ago.

No need to further discuss it. It has no bearing on this case.

Thanks,

Salem

TLM testified that she was listening to her ipod when she and Rafferty abducted Tori

I want to know how many of these JOBS MTR claimed to have had and these classes ...did he actually work...and when....not from him but from any source that can proove he actually worked. He told TLM she says that his mom lived with HIM and he looked after her...what does he tell the other ones....i mean he is 28 lives at home with mommy and doesnt work JMO

BA claims she met MR at Better Beef in Guelph six years ago, then he got laid off from his butchering job. Maybe he was fired? :waitasec: Then he admitted to LE in his interview he was working at odd jobs under the table. Other then that, he claimed to own his own business, which was probably working under the table. Can we believe anything this guy says? IMHO, nope. Wonder where he was getting his money from other than his mom? Welfare?:moo:

wonder why she had T&J name and phone# and address written on so many pieces of paper throughout the house...realize that they were "Clients" so to speak...were any other "clients" names found in her house...

Court is back in

Jury returns with Scoyne still being questioned by Crown; again looking at photo of pair of shoes in McClintic's house

Scoyne shows another shot of the size 9 Puma shoes.

Now showing another pair of shoes... Tied the way McClintic tied her Shaq shoes found on side road 6.

RaffertyLFP: Now describing close-up of White Reebok shoes with unique lacing

Great question Derstine! keep asking about the facial injuries! JMO

I agree. Keep asking about the horrific injuries to this child's face. About her broken nose. Let the jury think about her choking on her own blood. Keep going on about Tori's final moments on this earth. Good work Derstine.

Rafferty's lawyer, Dirk Derstine, questioned McClintic earlier in the trial about several songs by death rapper Necro, asking if she was listening to them on her iPod before she snatched Tori off the street outside school.

Each song contained lurid and violent lyrics.

Carnegie asked Identification Const. Gary Scoyne about six songs specifically referred to by Derstine in his intensive questioning of McClintic.

None of the six songs were on her iPod when it was seized, Scoyne said.

Next slide is a photo array of the shoes found at McClintic's home. The size 9 Pumas.

Scoyne now describing a storage room in McClintic's Wilson St. home; packed with cardboard boxes -- all were searched.

Next photo is a messy, cluttered room in McClintic's home.

Next photo is the kitchen. Taken from the messy storage room. Shows door to the basement.

I don't believe that the writing on the cigarette slip and the cd slip are the same, the writing on the cigarette slip is somewhat shaky and I'm wondering if that might be Carol's handwriting, whilst the writing on the cd slip looks more that the fancy scrawl of TLM.

trial set to resume with the Chief Pathologist facing cross-examination. So far Tori's parents aren't here.

Did they end up appearing? After yesterday, I would understand if they took a day off..... hard to stomach....

RaffertyLFP: Now seeing a scale diagram of McClintic residence; locations of "Missing" poster, shoes, notebook and hair dye notated.

RaffertyLFP: Now seeing photos of the basement in the Wilson St home; also, cluttered - no items of significance found here according to Scoyne

Showing the jury a scale diagram of the main level of McClintic home. Shows where police found the notebook, hair dye, shoes and Tori poster

The basement was also searched, Scoyne says,

I think it was suggested by Derstine that she was listening to those songs, he made a big deal of it when he was cross-examining her, but TLM said she wasn't listening to Necro that day.

Right, but did Derstine suggest she was listening to it while she walked away to MR's car with Tori? TIA:waitasec:

And she wasn't listening to the songs that the defence played in court because none of them are on her Ipod. And the defence would know that through discovery. Pretty petty and underhandedly suggestive cross if you ask me.
