o.k....now that doesn't look like a red truck!!!

Looks like a civic...

A friend of mine had a security system that could record a mouse fart five houses away.

Thank God for cctv. If there's pictures, there might be sound, too.

:cow:

We have sleuths here that will be able to tell us what kind of cars those are quickly. JMHO.

The shadows of the trees are different enough to say that a bit of time passed between one car and the other. I'm wondering maybe an hour or so time frame between the time one car is seen and then the other? Just something I noticed at first glance.

I wonder if the memorial fire could be related to the note posted yesterday. About donating funds rather than leave flowers and gifts. Maybe a neighbor was annoyed there was still a memorial and kicked a candle? I found that letter somewhat rude personally. It hasn't even been a month, a killer is on the loose, let the little girl have a freaking memorial! Between actions like the note, the fires and the silence from LE it's almost like everyone wants this to just go away. I've never seen anything like it.

I know this happens in other instances,

It becomes a hazard. A spot that would work maybe could be made for Opal and Alanna, Piles of wet stuff lose their appeal.

Maybe some nice equipment could be donated to a park or something more permanent and meaningful.

Agree Civic for the first car. Older model Ford (?) for car on right?

Between local LE, the FBI & the Texas Rangers, I find it hard to believe that they
don't know what models those vehicles are- and who owns each model in Saginaw.

Is this not a busy street? Have LE narrowed down a time they think she was taken? I'm a little confused. If there are several hours she is unaccounted for how are there only two vehicles that are of interest?

Wish I was good at identifying vehicles. "It's a car! A four-wheeled one!" etc. etc.

Lol, that's all I have too.

It has that "tail" thing on the end though. I thought it went out in the '90's with Ford Escorts, but in the mid 2000's a friend was looking at a higher end car with the "tail" thingy. Sigh. Ford Focus, Mercury something????

It is of boxy heavy body, and low to the ground.

Um, I think LE knows the kind of car, I think they need locals to pipe up about who drives it. I hope.

Is it convertable? Cloth top? Or hard top? I can't tell.

Smart thinking Kat!

So is this Alanna's street?

First one is a Subaru coupe and the second is a Chrysler or Ford sedan?

We had this happen just the other night also. It really scared me. My husband looked outside everywhere right after and saw no one. There are two small children (approximately 5 and 7) who roam the streets around our house at all hours of the day and night. Sometimes they are out there when I leave for work at 7:30, sometimes late at about 11:00 p.m. I don't know where they live or what to do about it. I'm worried about them, but whoever they live with does not seem to be.

Call your dept of social services and talk to someone about it.

It could constitute neglect which may result in something being done.

Perhaps the parents work and cannot afford childcare. Or perhaps the parents are passed out from drugs and alcohol.

It is not normal

I agree in the long term, but like I said, it hasn't even been a month. I believe public displays, a place for those to gather together is important for those grieving for this little girl.

ETA: Playground equipment would make for an excellent permanent memorial.

I thought these were photos from near where Alanna was dropped off so Cindy Lane or Roundrock?

Brandon Todd ‏@BrandonToddFOX4 5m The pics are of vehicles seen in the neighborhood around the time Alanna Gallagher was murdered. Not suspects..just possible witnesses @FOX4

I think these are the dark colored vehicles that peeps were saying dark vans the other day?

Saginaw has an Opal Jo Jennings memorial park.

I was reading up a little on that case. I was trying to find any instances of arson, just in case, but I didn't find any.

Regarding the photos that were released, I totally believe that this is completely irrelevant, but I'm going to mention it anyway. Opal Jennings was abducted by someone in a dark sedan. On the vastly remote possibility that it has any relevance, I do not believe for a second that the serial perp would be driving the same car after 14 years, but perhaps he would maintain a preference for the same type of car.

Son says Mazda RX7 or 8 and Ford Crown Vic

ETA: 1st car could also be a subaru or a Toyota supra. Pretty positive 2nd is Ford Crown Vic
