They outline their beliefs on homosexuality (and other things) on their website. They are against same sex marriage.

I thought I was looking at everything I could see without listening to the sermons, i did not see if but maybe I did not read far enough,

UPDATE: Mark Conditt railed against homosexuality. He defended the death penalty and said terrorists should be kept locked up.
But his motives in a string of bombings this month are still unclear.

And oddly he was against sex offender registries as too harsh a punishment for sex offenders. So odd.

About the two roommates -- law enforcement won't be done with them any time soon. There will be a series of interviews over the next several months. Transcripts will be reviewed. New questions will be developed. Their own purchasing records will be reviewed. Their e-mails and chat histories will be reviewed. Those two are not going anywhere. At some point knowledge will either be confirmed or the absence of knowledge will be confirmed, but it won't be a quick decision today.

Watch #LIVE [soon] Authorities are giving an update on the serial bomber investigation in #Austin #Texas #AustinBombings #AustinBombing http://bit.ly/2xhQWzH

Not confirmed, obviously, but there is a strip center of several bars about a block or so from his home. So he could have gone without anyone really knowing what he was doing. "Just taking a walk..." etc.

I was simply ruminating that it has been said on quotes on WS that he was very religious. And I am sure that his church would have lots of activities. So going to a bar seems like an interesting choice,

It is a VERY tiny house. If I had to guess, no more than 1000 sq. ft. I don't see how they didn't know, but... I suppose they may have just thought he was "playing" or "experimenting" and didn't realize he'd do something like THIS. I don't know, though. We'll wait until the reports come out. Maybe I'm just nosier than most, but if someone is living with me, I know what they are doing. Just saying.

If he was known to tinker with things the roommates may have never known. My son tinkers with small engines daily in the garage and I never question what he’s doing. BRB... going to check my garage ;)

Doesn't it seem odd that they wouldn't know what he was up to?

In the live telecast earlier, thought there was a small shed in backyard, not sure if it was on his lot or neighbor.

Yep and he def will be under surveillance. He could have lawyered up too, as to why was released. (one was released, one still being questioned per APD) But I guarantee you they knew a ton on the 2 roommates and many who were affiliated with MAC last night. Did some research of the tracking stuff they use few years ago. They can tell you all your neighbors and tons of stuff for many years at a few clicks.

Pflugerville resident Jay Schulze said he was jogging Tuesday night when he was stopped by police and asked about the bombings. He said police flew drones over a home for about six hours between Tuesday evening and early Wednesday morning.

He described the home over which the drones were flying as “a weird house with a lot of people coming and going” and a bit rundown.

TX Congressman @RepMcCaul tells me the Austin Texas bombing suspect had a list of addresses on his computer where he mailed or placed the bombs #AustinBombings

I don’t see a time when this was posted, but the accompanying picture is the yellow house. it was on “CBS Austin” about an hour ago

http://cbsaustin.com/news/local/police-clear-area-near-austin-bombing-suspects-home-in-pflugerville

Pflugerville police have begun evacuating the area around the home of the Austin bombings suspect Mark Anthony Conditt and federal authorities are preparing to deploy an anti-explosives robot.

Pflugerville police Cmdr. Keith Ritchie says the FBI told local police to evacuate the area late Wednesday morning. Reporters waiting nearby are being pushed back and neighbors are being evacuated from their homes.
Ritchie says the order came after investigators searched the suspect's home and surrounding area.

He says he doesn't know what prompted the order.
An ATF vehicle could be seen arriving and officials were unloading an anti-blast robot.

Yes, that's possible. The Columbine killers, IIRC, built their bombs in Eric Harris' bedroom and garage of his parent's home. I remember reading news stories about how they broke up glass with hammers, etc. for shrapnel. Apparently the parents didn't notice or thought they were working on some kind of hobby project.

So it's possible his roommates didn't realize what MAC was really doing.

#AustinBombings suspects' family releases statement: "We had no idea of the darkness that Mark must have been in. Our family is a normal family in every way."

2 p.m. update: CNN is reporting it has obtained a statement from relatives of bombing suspect Mark Conditt:

“We are devastated and broken at the news that our family could be involved in such an awful way. We had no idea of the darkness that Mark must have been in. Our family is a normal family in every way. We love, we pray, and we try to inspire and serve others. Right now our prayers are for those families that have lost loved ones, for those impacted in any way, and for the soul of our Mark. We are grieving and we are in shock. Please respect our privacy as we deal with this terrible, terrible knowledge and try to support each other through this time.” https://www.statesman.com/news/loca...ct-releases-statement/WKajysywCqjuMpEEPtYPSL/

I wonder about the comment that there were many people coming and going from that house. At first I read that it meant since the suspect was identified.

But now I am wondering if the neighbor meant that there were a lot of people always coming and going all of the time

Thanks. I looked on their church website.

They believe all races are ok.

They do not believe in premarital sex but then there is that sex abuse scandal. So I guess some things are elastic.

The thing I've experienced in my own experience with people of any kind of faith or belief (to include Communism and Humanism) is that life constantly creates contradictions. In any belief group there will be varying levels of behavioral consistency. Some people are highly self-controlled, others are all over the map. People are inherently messy. I heard one pastor say, "Ministry would be a great job if it weren't for the people." It is the nature of people-intensive environments. In another professional setting, one doctor I overheard complained about his patients. People wear each other out.

The house is one of two - blue with white trim, or yellow with white trim. Both houses when I drove by were HEAVILY covered with police tape, so it's hard to distinguish which one it actually is.
