I read that article and how many stories can actually be true and if the apartment management couldn't talk about any details, how did this come out about MJ smell complaints?

Where did the noise complaints come from?

Didn't the Rangers theorize that when management went to check on the NOISE complaint, they must have left the door open?

How is only now that Meritt is disclosing Botham Jean had spoken to his girlfriend about the pot smoke complaint and intrusion?

I find it interesting that Meritt believes she went to 1478 intentionally yet had no theories as to what her reason for going there was. Maybe it's obvious, to murder him?

I'm wondering if Meritt needs to put a sock in it already.

How big was his TV and I imagine the cable company might be able to verify he was watching?

I know my TV is plenty bright enough to light up a large room.

Apparently, the management went to Mr. Jean's apartment, to ask if he smelled marijuana smoke, as others had complained. This was not directly related to him.

He had been watching football.

The night he was killed, Jean planned to watch the Atlanta Falcons play the Philadelphia Eagles, the first game of the NFL season, Merritt said.

"He was a huge football fan and was looking forward to watching the game," Merritt said.

A thunderstorm passing through Philadelphia delayed the game by 45 minutes, so the game was still on when Guyger arrived at his door about 10 p.m.

Jean was eating cereal, texting a friend and using his laptop around that time, Merritt said. A file from work sat nearby, but it was too dark in the room to work, he added.

So, there had to have been noise, no? What burglar watches your tv? You know when you want to believe something, you can construct it, I guess. How terrified he must have been. And his friend who was "with" him online and he just stopped answering, how sad.

The way that scene is described it really suggests to me that when she entered the apartment the light was ON and after she shot him she turned it off or lied about it being off to help her narrative of confusion.

I find watching football in the dark kind of unusual, and I find eating potentially messy food such as cereal and milk right next to your laptop (if he was on his couch he might have to literally stand the cereal bowl ON his laptop) in the dark--even with the light of the tv/laptop--to be very unusual.

It's absolutely possible that he was in fact doing both of those things, but that scene is strange enough that it definitely gives me pause.

I have never known a man to watch football with the volume low, or without lots of commentary including whoops, cheers, or other verbal outbursts. Perhaps this in itself is what brought the Perp to Mr. Jean’s door that night?

I agree there are so many questions with this new information. In fact I think even that report is starting to look very confusing, it is so hard to reconcile all the stories in one piece.

Didn't the Rangers theorize that when management went to check on the NOISE complaint, they must have left the door open?

That theory was part of the anonymous leak a day or two ago. Knowing here that Bo was present when the agent was checking, the only explanation for the theory would be he didn't close the door properly when he saw him/her out. How strange.

How is only now that Meritt is disclosing Botham Jean had spoken to his girlfriend about the pot smoke complaint and intrusion?
That Bo was telling girlfriend about the complaint, was reported a few days ago. But back then, everyone thought it was a noise complaint. Don't know how Merritt found out different now.

If it can be proved that Bo was indeed watching TV at 10pm - not only there was more light and noise in the room, and the whole scene definitely didn't feel like a burglary - but the look and size of the TV screen, the location of it etc.. Cannot possibly be identical to what AG had at her home????

To me that would be an even larger red flag than the red rug at the door. It changes the whole scene inside the apartment.

Again, depending on what type of TV he had and how he obtained service, evidence could exist if Netflix or whomever was streaming to his smart TV and satellite or cable likely verifiable to a dumb TV.

His laptop being on and him online communicating, verifiable.

At the very least, it sounds much like he was awake with laptop and TV on, his window blinds open letting in incident city light when the door had AG standing in it allowing more light to illuminate the room.

Even if he had no other light on, this doesn't sound like a dark room. It was illuminated well enough one of her two shots hit center mass and she seemingly could see he was hit since she stopped shooting.

Her training was to keep shooting until YOU KNOW THE THREAT HAS BEEN STOPPED. She knew alright and it doesn't sound like she knew for any other reason, other than she could see.

Pull the smart electric meter data and let's see when electrical consumers in his flat were turned on and off. I wonder if she turned his TV and broken? laptop OFF since in now sounds like it has been verified his laptop appeared to be working prior?

Maybe he had a smart TV with brains that might help tell the truth along with traceable logged streaming data content and IP service for his laptop. Of course either of those devices left captured digital foot prints just as his electric service's smart meter data will show what was on and when things were turned on and off.

The claim she turned the light on after returning to his flat (how did she get back in the sure slam door) from the 911 call, should be verifiable. Whenever, OR IF, she turned the light on matters because her defense hinges on the room being dark and she did say she turned the lights on sometime after killing him, not before.

Please tell me this isn’t his exact apartment...

1378 was hers and you may have missed reports that she moved out pronto and went to her sisters place. So we know she purportedly has a brother and sister.

Has the exactly location of the "78" units been established with regards to the complex layout and with respect to the Satellite imagery I posted of the entire complex overhead showing the swimming pool as well as the courtyard? areas?

From the look of things now, his laptop must have been broken when he dropped it as he was shot:(

How do the locals watch the football in Dallas? Cable TV?
