This is my first case I followed closely that actually has made it to trial so I am not sure if I am doing this list of witnesses accurately. Feel free to correct me if needed. I copy what I read here on tweets as far as name spellings and info. Was there a name ever state for the Sprint guy? I didn't see a name for them.

Day 2 Witnesses

4. (W6) Ariel Hammer, friend of Christina.
5. (W7) Teighlor Stegman. Says Morris was her best friend.

2. (W14) Justin Hill, was w Lofton and group on 8/29/14, knew CM/EA.
3. (W15) James Nyawera. Part of group, knew CM/EA from school.
4. (W16) Steven Nickerson. He was at the apartment where all were hanging out.
5. (W17) Scott Epperson, Plano Police detective, helped investigate the case.
6. (W18) Logan Prendergast, CM Ex boyfriend.
7. (W19) Erica Scott, hair stylist at Shops of Legacy, where Morris was last seen
8. (W20) John Belcher, asst. GM at Henry's Tavern, bar.
9. (W21) Michael McGowan, manager of Scruffy Duffies, bar.
10. (W22) Fras Alhdamni, security manager at the Shops at Legacy.
11. (W23) Jason McCain is an IT specialist at bank off Legacy.
12. (W24) Blake Sawyer, digital specialist with Plano PD.
13. (W25) ??name?? Sprint custodian of records.

I wonder if the subpoena spellings are completely accurate, or if the Twitter reporters have previously researched and prepared a witnesses list to work from.

For instance: Peele, Karlyn Kari instead of Carrie as reported.

I guess it doesn't matter too much. What's interesting is to see their relationship to Christina or to the case.

If CM's phone died while walking and upon entering the parking garage where she couldn't text/call SN that she arrived at her car, how did it ping an hour later north of the shops? Is North of the Shops the parking garage? Has a map been created showing the places everyone was that night, the garage, the phone pings, etc?

According to this (case link), the trial was cancelled for Monday. Maybe the judge decided there was no point in only a half day due to the juror's doctor appointment.

I was reading about the pleading 5th of Hunter Foster. This is pretty interesting article. Explains why judge didn't have him plea in front of jury. Also talks about the advance notice of plea 5th.

Jmho I think the immunity spoke about is "use immunity"

Wonder when they swore in the other witnesses over 20? As they were called? Or who was in the 20? Was it a way to keep some out?

I have just had a sign (from somewhere? Above? Serendipity?) that I need to follow my instincts and be in court. Call me weird, but my sign appeared out of nowhere in a place I would never expect. So I'm going with it. Work wise, Tuesday will be the best day for me to go. So I'm 95% sure I'm going that day. Unless my manager says no, which I doubt, I'll be there.

I'm don't think you can copy my tweets here since I'm not MSM, but I think that I can post on WS what I'm witnessing in the courtroom. Mods can you confirm? I know I obviously can't give details about jurors etc, but I can at least alert that sidebars are going on when there's Twitter silence, give observances on demeanors of attorneys and witnesses and atmosphere in the room.

Twitter reporters are definitely not prepared on the names. Several have corrected themselves on spelling. And Twitter followers are helping the reporters with name clarification, spelling occasionally. I will also say that PP's name on the subpoena record is not correct too. It's unreliable in either instance. Lol

Pm a mod they may give permission. 2 of us attended Arron Lewis trial and we were allowed to post about it. It is nothing like TV. Go if you can, for many reasons, one being you will always wish you had. You will also quickly realize how awful media is lol

During the last rescheduling of the trials, it got slated (incorrectly, maybe?) for 9/12 and then was moved up to 9/6. So I think the 9/12 cancellation is an old record. I remember it being there from months ago. I think the reporters would have mentioned at the end of the day yesterday if there was no court on Monday.

I was a witness in a trial recently although it was family law. The pretrial info was not correct on names but we were asked to state our name and spell both before being asked any questions on the stand so I assume they are too; hiwever, I'm sure our tweeters are tweeting in a major time crunch.

I am hoping that the ping location is really GPS. Cell tower pings can bounce from one to another be prepared for Defense to have expert that calls it junk science . Jmho have read a lot of conflicting information on it. It is confusing to me.

I researched this last night. I found that if a phone battery is dead it will NOT ping. Phones ping with every text or call and various other pings if software is looking for tower. I did find that phones DO ping when they are actually turned off, as in the action of turning off pings phone location, not a pings while turned off situation. If that's true, I'm very interested in seeing phone data.

I'd also love for a local with an iPhone to go to the garage, put their phone in the trunk, and see if it shows green status to another's iphone. One local said all got great signals in the garage but want to know chat status with phone in car and also in trunk. Anyone willing to test?

I learned this from Lewis trial. They put the smart phones on airplane mode because if phone came in contact with wifi someone can go in and delete with. They said don't have to have password to change settings. Or put in special bag. BC phone had Sims card removed so unable to track it iirc. I wonder if they can tell if her sim card was removed jmho

I'm curious about the pings too. Mostly because:

His phone pinged at Custer Road at 4:08.

Hers pinged at 4:47, his pinged at 4:56 on the same cell tower. Approximately 40 minutes later his cell phone pinged near his house.

I'm sure earlier on someone said how far away Custer Road and 5800 Granite Parkway are. But it seems to me like the cell tower at GP and the pings proves that he stopped somewhere. However towers cover such a huge area.

If we ASSUME that he stopped, that could mean two things. One - they stopped in that area and THAT is when the attack happened. Two - attack and "disposal" (I hate that word) happened.

I lean more toward just the attack since he was so late to work the next morning. However he apparently cleaned the hell out of that car.

So she could very likely be in the area of that cell tower at 5800 granite parkway. People saying there was a lot of construction in that area disturbs me.
