Ohhhhhh I thought they meant it was at HER house since her mom had been over to her house in Fort Worth. I just assumed that's "the house" they were talking about. It seems odd that a camera they thought she was carrying was at her dad's. JMO of course.

She texted her bf that she didn't have her house key and wanted him to leave the door unlocked. Imo, if I was missing my house key, I'd pay attention to whether or not I had any of my keys. My keys aren't always on the same ring, but I am usually conscience of where my other keys are. Sometimes, my bf and I switch vehicles but I make sure I have my house key (or garage door opener), and my office keys with me. From what I've read, CM is dependable. Yes, she was distraught b/c she was worried about H cheating on her. Rationality goes out the window sometimes.
Another thing that bothers me is when exactly did CM discover H was "cheating" on her? I doubt I would go hang with friends if I'd just found out my live-in bf had someone else. I wouldn't cry to my boss on Friday, go home (our home) and pack my stuff for a time-out away from him. H3LL NO. My rear would be at our house all weekend.

Maybe she couldn't find her car keys and went back toward the apartment the party was at? I'm sure people have suggested this. Someone may have grabbed her on her way back.

IIRC, CM last texted at 3:57 am as she was walking into the parking garage. To our knowledge, there has been no sighting or activity since she and the male friend parted ways in the parking garage. I wondered if she was going to see if her keys were locked in her car.

not that the general public has been told. There has been hardly any information given to the public since this case started. Searchers were first told she may have her camera with her, it was even listed on the list of things to look for, and then this week, her dad posted on Twitter I believe that her camera was there. There has been confusion on what clothes she had on, had with her, etc. This is hamsters on a treadmill case IMO.

CM was reported to have been at Lewisville Lake with bf and other friends on Wednesday, 27 August.
CM was at work at Great Expectations on Friday, 29 Aug sometime between the business hours of
11am and 7pm (we don't know exact hours she would have worked but this should be easily proven so we'll call it fact)
Boss says per sm CM was crying at work because she found out that bf was cheating
At 8pm Friday a photo of bf skateboarding at the Holocaust Museum in Dallas is uploaded to CM's Instagram
CM went to Shops of Legacy that evening for a girl's night out
Her Toyota Celica was( later found) parked on the 1st level NE corner of the parking garage behind Dunkin Donuts
She was seen by witness to be walking through the parking garage toward Henry's just after 11pm
She was seen by witness to be wearing a flowy, colorful kimono top
A photo later posted on sm with the comment "From the night she went missing" shows CM to be
wearing a black hat, light beige strapless top, beige cardi-type coverup, and grey and white pattern bottoms. (We can't tell if it is skirt, shorts or pants in the photo)
She was seen by witness to have entered Henry's with two girlfriends
CM went to get something to eat after leaving Henry's
CM went to an apartment at 5700 Scruggs Way
According to dad's phone records the last 15 calls were to bf
A text was sent to bf phone from the phone of CM at 3:36 "I can't find the keys to house"
A video from camera 13 in the parking garage at 3:57 am shows what appears to be CM (wearing a
black hat, black backpack, and long skirt) and an unnamed male hs friend walking just inside the garage
The released video ends at 3:57 am, with the two still walking side by side
As per missing person info released by LE: Last seen entering a parking garage near the 5700
block of Legacy Dr in Plano,TX. Missing person is known to carry her iPhone, which is white with a
green back cover. She also may have her Cannon Rebel digital camera on her. Video of her
entering a parking garage indicates she may have been carrying a dark colored back pack at the
time of her disappearance. Missing person has a tattoo on her left hip that states, " Dream as if
you will live forever, live as if you will die tomorrow", a healed belly button piercing scar, a nose
piercing and a cherry birth mark on the back of her neck.
A text was sent to bf from the phone of CM at 3:58 am "Can you please leave the front door unlocked?"
Parents file missing person's report 2 Sept at 11:17pm after boss contacts CM's friend about her missing work and friend contacts mother
On 3 Sept Bf (logged into CM's page) posts on her page asking for friends to help give info/find CM

also add:
bf was sleeping and phone battery was dead so this is why he did not respond to her
texts.. witnesses and police confirm his whereabouts, and he is not a POI
AFTER she was reported missing, bf went to OK to distribute fliers at gas stations,casino and rest areas with his father

D. Police,Family and TES Have Searched North Of Legacy ,Areas Of Lake Lewisville & Parts of Plano/Allen

E. Flyers Have Been Put Up and News Alerts Sent Out & Appeal For Information By Family & Police

F. No Evidence Has Ever Been Found, No Foul Play , No Information, No Leads Have Been Generated
1) Dad has stated since 9-26-14 that the camera(in question) has been located and was at the house-He did not say our house
G. Several People Have Been Asked Questions

H. No Suspects,No Persons of Interests, No Witness

TXYorkieMom - just noticed something from your recap (btw thank you - I knew you would be along shortly with great info)....the video ends at 3:57 am and they had less than 50 yards to go for CM to get to her car....the last text was at 3:58 am, so perhaps Topcat was right - maybe she was standing at her car when she texted the last known text. ?

That would probably be a fair statement Cookie since CM Lives and Works in Fort Worth with her BF as reported many times in the media.

OT It is a pain to get from FT Worth to most places in DFW area because of crazy traffic and lots of road construction
For those that do not live in the DFW area looking at the case ...do not let the mapping & time frames FOOL ya ..very misleading
if it says 45-50 min drive ..add about 30-40 min to that for delays and such..sometimes it is at a crawl.

At 4 am even on toll roads you can reasonably expect a 1-1.25 hr on the road

Just an Observation thus far:
Seems He was 1 person that knew her plans to return to Fort Worth and in order to do that she needed to return to her car to carry out that plan

My best guess :
She wouldn't.. only her possible missing house key yes(if it were me I would already be figuring a way to get into my and bf house regardless if I had a key or not) ..the toyota key not.
Either walking buddy was going to give her a ride
someone was going to meet her there to give her a ride or bring her a key
she already had her toyota key in hand
The missing key questions were just a way to get bf to respond back to her ..There Was Never Any Missing KEY

The text about losing her keys that was sent 20 minutes earlier than she was seen at the garage makes me think she didn't go to her car at all, nor was planning to, and that 'someone' offered her a ride and she accepted. JMO.

“I’ve known her since grade school,” he tearfully told our cameras.
Questions have been swirling all week — Why didn’t he report her missing? Why did she call him 15 times the morning before she disappeared?

The morning she disappeared Aug 30 2014 12am -3:58am ..just to simple this up : CM called HF 15 times in a 3hr and 58 min time frame that would result in her calling him like 1(once) every 16 minutes.
