I'm guessing somewhat....it is my understanding he believes there is something bigger going on. Perhaps a ransom. That the family knows exactly what is going on. Hence their silence, their deleting of any questions etc. that the bf going to China is a ploy.

Not sure I buy it. Again, didn't talk enough to know precisely, but that's my take.

Guess we can toss it into the pot of theories on this one.

I also find it odd that any question is immediately shut down. The cops basically ask for info from the public. They say it can be anonymous. However, the family releases a statement that if you want to give them a lead, it must include names etc.

They are seriously hurting this search. That is, unless something bigger is going on, and they do know. I can only imagine their grief, and suspect they aren't thinking clearly. Or perhaps too much trust in the police.

Ransom? Maybe I watch too much tv, but don't people kidnap wealthy people or high profile people and expect a ransom? seems odd to kidnap someone (no offense intended, but "average") and want a ransom. This family can't even seem to scrape together money to raise for the reward site, so it doesn't seem like a kidnapper would target them.

BBM - that is a great word and I agree. LE asks for help (along with Christina's family) on one hand but it doesn't seem they really want any help. IMO

LE is probably speaking out to the one or two specific people who LE thinks know more about the circumstances of the evening/early morning hours before Christina went missing. LE needs someone to come forward to confirm what LE suspects. I'm not sure what the info is exactly but maybe LE is waiting for someone to talk.

Exactly because the shops at legacy cam back and said they have excellent security or something like that. Hurting business.

Or maybe the cameras were disabled by someone (versus inoperative due to neglect). Therefore, the reason they didn't work (two of them) isn't the fault of Legacy management or lack of maintenance.

I think it's simple. LE can't move forward unless
A: someone comes forward with credible information. Enough to make an arrest.
B: She needs to be found

I believe this will remain cold until she's found. A month has passed. There's been plenty of time for someone to speak up.

Also....some people have/will lawyer up.

Cops had their chance. They have appealed to the public.

I'll add:
I'd look into her job with the dating service. People losing thousands is motive enough.
I'd also look into some possible shady characters, a deal gone wrong etc.

There is a case, if you really want to scratch your head and wonder what the h, where the writing as to who dunnit is clearly on the wall but still no body, no murder charges. At least the guy is under house arrest (for other charges, drugs and *advertiser censored*, uncovered during the missing person investigation). Go read about Kelly Dwyer who is missing from Milwaukee to get a taste of what total frustration feels like considering the public evidence is already so strong.

Yeah it's a terrible thought, really. But without a body or a confession at this point there hasn't been a crime committed, so here we are at a standstill. I worry that we may never know the answers.

Supposedly CM and the walker only had about 50 yards to go. I have asked several times and know that no one can answer the question, but I do wonder at what point during those 50 yards did the walker escort veer off to go to his car.
