This child didn't deserve this. Even more, this woman never deserved to me a mother.

Such an infectious smile this young child had.

“I think they will wait and see what the autopsy shows and the search warrants they filed to see if there was prior bruising,” said legal expert and former prosecutor Mindy Montford.

The arrest warrants filed do not say who is responsible for the assault which caused the injury which may have lead to Colton’s death, but a key piece of evidence for a murder charge could come from the testimony of the suspects themselves.

“You do see a lot of time with co-defendants, one will get a lesser charge if they cooperate,” said Montford. “I think (Michael Turner) is on probation right now so that could play into the motivation for him wanting to give law enforcement assistance.”

My husband has bad acne and has never done drugs or alcohol. Acne is not unheard of at age 20. According to her friends MW liked pot and alcohol. No mention of drugs other than those. Weight fluctuation could be from morning sickness which she speaks about on her FB page. [modsnip]

Those marks on her face in the mug shot are meth sores, not acne.

I wonder if she was receiving child support payments from the bio dad, and/or some kind of support from the state that would've ended upon his death.

With the way Colton was being treated, it seems like it would've been easy for BP and his family to get more, if not sole, custody.

According to the search warrant Work's sister was aware of the alleged abuse and so was Child Protective Services. CPS confirms there are previous cases involving Colton. The agency is reviewing those cases to see whether they were handled according to policy.

It is MW's boyfriend. Colton has his middle and last name even though he isn't his biological father.

Tampering with Evidence is typically a 3rd degree felony (2-10 year sentence), however, when the evidence is a human body it can be enhanced to a 2nd degree (2-20 years). The enhancement for cases involving a human body came in response to the murder of Jennifer Cave who was murdered and dismembered in West Campus back in 2005.

If murder charges are filed, it is possible it could be tried as a Capital Murder case due to Colton Turner’s age.

I honestly just hope that whatever she and Turner are tried with, they will get the death penalty as a punishment. I was hoping that one of them would just talk and tell where his body was without trying to get the death penalty off the table. I guess I figured if an attorney was working with them that would of been a "deal" enhancer. If that makes sense...?

I've been looking on and off since this afternoon with no such luck. Visually, I only have a mug shot pic to go off of. In the news, he is referred to as her boyfriend..but you'd never know that by comments she makes to other men on fb, including Colton's bio father

This is late but I saw on her Facebook a pic or her sitting in his lap in 2011. The post under it said is that turner? She said yes. Then someone posted in 2013 on the pic that she wishes they were still together because he was so good to her. She said we are back together and have been for a bit now . Not a direct quote but that's what she said.

I didn't when I thought the social media comments were accurate that she led LE to the gravesite. But with today's revelation, I have done a total flip-flop & do think the same as you now.

It's difficult to believe she can't answer who assaulted Colton.
