Can't LE request from the Texas DMV a list of everyone that owns that vehicle? It's not a common vehicle at all. I feel like once you have that list it wouldn't be impossible to figure this out. Now if the truck were an F150, Ram, or Silverado I'd say forget it, but this is a Nissan Frontier 4 x 4 Pro-4X 2013-2021.

The truck is the key.

Agree- the truck is the key- no stone should be unturned in finding that truck.

Unless it came from out of state…they should look at surrounding states and Florida too.

A LE letter to each owner of such vehicle. Call in or write back of previous owners and current location.
Note $50,000 reward in big letters.

Somewhere, somehow, somebody has seen this vehicle and know who was the driver/owner.

I feel like if the right person/area would know of this... there would be a break by way of the truck.
A good idea. There has to be a way to do this. We've all seen LE come up with creative ways to track down criminals. I'm not thinking mentioning the reward or crime, but some other way to entice the owner to come in. It would only work with trucks registered in Texas and in that area. Someone from outside the area, especially military who might have their vehicle registered in another state, would not likely be caught like this, though. Although, Texas is one of three states with no personal income tax (Florida and Washington are the other two) and which are common for military members to declare residence.

For a long time, It seemed to me that the investigation was at a dead end. I was puzzled why information seemed to still be withheld from the public, when its release might generate new leads.

I‘ve watched this twice now. I think LE knows who did this. In my opinion, they are keeping numerous things close to the vest…until they get a little more. Just a hunch, as I’ve said.

If you search Google maps there are several dark color trucks in Liz's neighborhood and surrounding area. Not sure of the make or model of these trucks, though the trucks are four-door crew cab type similar to killer's truck. IMO
When she was first murdered I drove around on google maps but there were several Black ProX4s within close proximity so I gave up. My initial thinking was someone “borrowed” the truck from a nearby business then returned it before it was noticed missing.

Actually my theory on the truck hasn’t changed a whole lot. I don’t think the owner of the truck knows it was used by the killer and may not have any connection to the killer.

I've been thinking the same thing. Just for examples - someone house sitting and the truck is there, a military member deployed and this person takes care of the truck.

Were you able to notice if these trucks were a Nissan Frontier or Titan? I wasn't able to notice much detail. I would hope that LE already checked out the local trucks.

For some time , I was thinking about Sergio’s not showing obvious grief and looking motionless when he was at the crime scene. I somehow had got the feeling that his motionlessness may not be becaouse he was involved but rage and anger overtook grief as something dawned on him there . Maybe something he feared for a period happened to his wife and he was shocked and freezed , was afraid of this coming . He had a possible scenario and suspect in his mind there at the crime scene and maybe was blaming himself and anger towards the person in his mind etc.that made him freezed .
After reading that S pointed finger to his father on P.Zahn’s Show maybe the father was whom he suspected from day 1
Just a thought .

On the Case with Paula Zahn 2022 - A Fairy Tale Ruined

(short summary)

Detective MR's comment "If this doesn’t get solved it will haunt me until the day I die.”

On January 25, 2019, a neighbor heard four gunshots that morning from across the street. Neighbor saw Liz laying on the driveway and called 911.

Liz had been ambushed and had no chance to escape. There were no fire casings left behind. Murder weapon likely a revolver small to medium-sized caliber possibly a 380.

SB said he raced home from work because he knew something was wrong.

SB stated Liz and I were always kind of cautious people and had got a alarm system a ring doorbell.
Paula: SB was confused and used his phone to get a live look at what was happening.

SB: I opened up my doorbell camera and as soon as I saw it I saw there was police tape in front of the house. I see a police officer walk in front of it. I’m thinking what happened.

Paula: SB rewound the camera’s video and watched although he couldn’t see his wife from the driveway what he heard was just as terrifying.

SB: I was panning through the timeline trying to see what’s going on and I hear Liz screaming and then I hear gunshots.

Paula: SB listened to the video over and over again as he raced home. He immediately shared the critical evidence with police but it didn’t show investigators the most important detail who was Liz Barraza saying hello to just before the barrage of gunshots were fired.

I have been thinking about the outfit the shooter was wearing....long blond wig, robe and white Stormtrooper type boots. This seems like an odd and unique choice of garb. I would think a hitman would wear dark clothes and possibly a hoodie pulled tight around his face or a ski mask. So..... was the shooter asked to specifically wear that costume or was it his choice? Was the costume meant to bring attention to the 501st League? Was it to send a message to Sergio and the family?

If the audio is correctly transcribed I believe the shooter did not know there was going to be a garage sale that morning. He said something like "are you having a garage sale" and Liz said " Yup!" He may have also shown interest in the storm trooper helmet which also goes to a possible 501 League involvement.

Thoughts??? This is just my opinion only.

can you tell male or female voice? I thought I remembered you could not see what was happening from the door camera.
Thanks ariel!
You're welcome.

IMO, there is activity seen in the Barraza's ring cam though the visibility of the killer, movement/motion and clothing isn't seen enough to provide any answers, unfortunately. The killer seemed to know location of the cam. Killer stayed out of view of the cam. MOO
