Interesting answer to the Judge....TC said she IS married. She needs a permanent address....what one will she use? Items left in CA is where her passport is. Will she get those items back?
 
She was housed in a maximum security cell by herself Thursday night at the Lon Evans Correctional Facility, Tarrant County Sheriff Dee Anderson said.

“She expressed a bit of displeasure about her accommodations,” Anderson said. “I explained to her that this is a jail, not a resort.”

Anderson said Couch told him she couldn’t sleep well because the jail lights were too bright and other inmates were watching her.

Did the divorce not get finalized yet or did they get remarried?

Love it that they named the facility after long-time former Tarrant County Sheriff (and TCU standout) Lon Evans.

When the article was written, exercise for inmates under discipline restrictions was Jack LaLanne and Richard Simmons video. A rather novel incentive for inmates to avoid disciplinary infractions.

They were divorced at one point, but somewhere in the volumes of articles on this case I remember reading that they were living together again. Perhaps they remarried or they may now just have a common law marriage.
 
Oh the humanity of the jail conditions. Let's face it, her conditions are probably the nicest that can be had in that building.

That is the million dollar question...maybe married in her eyes, but divorced, maybe not finalized....I have no idea how to look for the information. She surely does not need to be lying.

As for the passport...it should be confiscated in CA or TX. I thought her civilian items would be transported with her to TX. Any lawyer to answer the question as to what happens to her items? Would the passport be confiscated by LE?

And I read divorced again....I read it somwehere here on WS in some past post....or that is what I thought I read.
 
If she is complaining about the jail here in Tarrant Co., the ones in LA & Mexico must not have been too bad. Maybe those jails made sure she was nice & comfy. Now she's facing reality & doesn't know how to handle it. Just wait until she goes to the BIG house................. if she ever does go there. I'm actually afraid that her attorney will find some kind of trick to save her.
 
One option a lot of people use to skirt around a hindering apprehension charge is " they/ the perp made me do it and I was afraid not to comply ''. This is handy with spouses and such when one is in trouble and the spouse does not turn them in. That's not really much of an option for mom here so we'll see what her next move is.
 
Sorry if already posted. Looks like they were married twice and divorced once. Still searching. Interesting article though. Sad that Fred appears estranged from older son.
