BBM. AS far as we know that is. It could be this case picked up steam because of people other than Bille. I would love to see the initial report. What did Billie state to LE? Maybe Billie gave LE a reason to think Hailey was a runaway. Or maybe that was LE making that assumption based on family history. Or maybe that's what LE seems to do initially in teen disappearances. Who knows huh?

If there had been a family dispute about where HD wanted to live, that would have been told to LE early on in the investigation. That is allmost certainly the reason for her being labeled a runaway early on because that is the sort of situation that often prompts teens to run away.

You know that Christmas photo of SA, BD, and Hailey? It bothers me that BD looks so removed from Hailey, like she doesn't even want to touch her. It sticks in my mind making me wonder if there was an argument between them.

I have a feeling that Billie was tired of Hailey messing up the "awesomeness" of her and Shawns' love shack. DD probably kept to himself...ignored them. SA probably constantly bothered Hailey....leading to arguments and Hailey leaving or trying to. Too bad Billie didn't just let her go. SA all to herself.....awesome! :sick:

Just a new thought I am having. Hailey was a cheerleader. Could someone have been watching her at football games? I am not comfortable narrowing suspects down to SA.

Could be, and it is good for us to remember that kidnapping isn't necessarily an action conducted by a stranger:

Kidnapping: The crime of unlawfully seizing and carrying away a person by force or Fraud, or seizing and detaining a person against his or her will with an intent to carry that person away at a later time.

It doesn't necessarily only involve force or fraud, it can also include situations where the person being abducted doesn't have the right to consent, such as a minor.

So, if HD ran away and someone was knowingly hiding her they could get in a whole heap of trouble.

OK guys, I have deleted some posts that had information in them that mentioned the bloodhounds. At the request of Hailey's mom, the only information she wants released about the dogs is that they were brought in to search for a scent. There has been NO confirmation that Hailey was or wasn't in a particular place anytime since she was last seen at home. As previously mentioned, Hailey has walked to her dad's house and her friend's house too many times to count.

I would very greatly appreciate those of you who quoted or questioned me on where the scent led the bloodhounds also edit or delete your posts. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

If she walked around the neighbor anyone could have seen her from time to time.
The mess created by SA of a believable timeline has caused more problems than can be stated. Even if he is not guilty of this crime, if another child is abducted becaused of his lack of co operation in this case he is guilty of obstructing justice, in some form or another.
LOL The guy irks me to no end.

It could've been some other stalker/stranger, but then it just so happened SA left work mysteriously the same day. Not to mention, none of the family's story has checked out or made sense. Yes, lots of predators out there, but . . .

I cannot understand what Billie saw in SA. We, the scrutinizing public, have not been told/shown anything that shows positive character attributes. He's 25, had previously lived with mom or grandma, no running vehicle of his own, Mom pays cell phone and he didn't contribute financially to BD's household. He looks like quite the moocher to me.

Well, he had a job so he couldn't have been mooching too much.

With all of the people who claim to have seen Hailey on either Sunday/Monday depending upon which version you believe, it seems as though if Hailey left her home on Monday at 3pm and headed out anywhere, someone should have seen her. Sounds like a lot of people keep their eyes out. The sighting I am most interested in is the woman who said, right from the start, that she saw Hailey, MB and a "boy she didn't recognize" on Monday evening. What became of this?

No it's not supported by any pings we know about. Only that he left his mom's at 2:40. We don't have ping info for after that. And it takes longer than 20 minutes to get from Big Spring to C.City, actually he would have been pushing it to even get there by 3:15. Not to mention the fact........CD and his GF say she did not come by there.

More accurately he was last in range of the tower at his moms town at 2:40. He might have allready been on his way to CC at that point.

The arriving at 3:00PM was also likely approximate, not accurate to the minute. It could have been later than that.

Think about the withdrawals Monday night, they were out of BD's account. He drove that car all over the place on Monday, yet she stated they needed gas which they probably did.

First, please allow me to send my humblest thanks and appreciation for the food, flagging tape, assistance and prayers during our recent search for little Hailey. It saddens me that there is no resolution in this case yet, but I am encouraged by the persistance of the community there and the folks here at WS.

Second, my dearest Tricia, in her efforts to enlighten you on our work and me personally over-exaggerated some and I would like to take a moment and thank her for the compliment that I was a SEAL while in the Navy. However, I was not. During Polly's abduction and my participation I had just left a number of years in support of a Navy SEAL unit and I am very proud of that participation...as crazy as it was at the time. I have a profound respect for them and the other special operations units I participated with to ever want to confuse myself with any of those brave men.

Many of you have questionned our, KlaasKIDS Foundation', immediate departure from the case...please let me reassure you it has NOTHING to do with the case. We were asked several weeks ago to become involved and we offered that assistance. Much like TES, we were asked to go on stand-by. After numerous pleading, last Saturday we were given the go ahead. Unfortunately, our already crazy schedule only allowed for me to be there from Monday through Friday.

I advised BD, CD and law enforcement that I would be glad to return, bring additional resources and continue the search effort for Hailey. I am very happy and pleased that LRCF was able to join us in the search and I know they will stay committed to this girl. I also offered contacts with numerous search and rescue units and advised the family and law enforcement to continue to reach out to other organizations that could assist them. I have also offered, and am offering here, any of our search planning and info to these organizations in their search effort. Too much is said and opinions are given to the negative, in relation to these well-meaning organizations in our country. Searching for missing persons should never be about competition...I personally don't care who finds Hailey, as long as she is found.

Please permit me one more lengthy comment...MK has done much since Polly to protect our children and gives his heart and yes, his emotions to each of these cases. I have never been more proud to call him my friend. His comments about the two cases being similar were out of context...it was part of a longer commentary about how these two communities came together following the disappearance of two girls in similar age, similar small community etc... He worked hard with BD and family to open lines of communication with law enforcement. I hope it will have our desired effect.

No, not necessarily. Maybe LE thinks someone out-of-state has information about SA and/or BD's involvement.

Just throwing this out there - if he was a control freak in their relationship, maybe his mindset was "what his is his & what's hers is his". (speaking from personal experience re: my WASband - we both had jobs.)

I call it mooching way too much when a 25 year old single man in good health with a job lives rent-free, uses someone else's cell phone, drives other peoples vehicles and has no expenses for utilities. It seems that he got all of his necessities from his girlfriend, mom, or grandma.

SA had a paycheck. He appears not to have spent any of it on living expenses.

It is probably the same person who is in all the stories, but through retelling it is coming from different sources as different people.

Well, he had a job so he couldn't have been mooching too much.

Yes, he had a job. BUT he had no running vehicle, so he mooched one off BD.
He had no cell, so his mommy paid for one.
He had no computer, or internet access, so he mooched off of his mom.
He had no place to live, other than grandma, so he moved in with his gf.
He needed to buy some drugs so they used Billies ATM card, once gain mooching off of her. He even stole it from her on one occasion we know of.

That is a whole lot of mooching imo.
