I just saw this...
Fieramusca's Attorney Says She Didn't Do It
Fieramusca's Attorney Says She Didn't Do It | NewsRadio 740 KTRH
From the article:

"The attorney for Megan Fieramusca claims she's innocent.

Attorney Jackie Wood says it's up to prosecutors to prove Megan Fieramusca committed a crime."

Good luck selling that to a jury!
If she was as 'innocent' as she says, she wouldn't have her 'best friend's' dead body in the trunk of a car at the place where she lives, and she wouldn't have her 'best friend's' baby in a swing in the home!

The only way she is 'innocent' is if she had a gun pointed at her by someone else during the entire time that this took place.

I have a very, very hard time believing that happened.

Inside edition covered this, and here is a shot from that program. We've seen video of the helicopters flying over, but this capture shows MF with a cowboy hat guy sitting in her garage, wearing her red hoodie for all to see that I had missed before. MOO

Right before this screenshot was the view that we've seen with 4 cowboy hat guys standing in her driveway and 4 more at end of driveway.

It appears indeed they detained her outside the house/inside garage while they worked on the warrant that was served late that night and CPS was called in.

I'm guessing that's a Texas Ranger sitting with her.

Having nightmares of the Casey Anthony verdict. <shudder> It only takes one juror to hang the whole process and one influential juror to put that doubt into the others’ minds. I do think we could see another José Baez style defense so I just hope for smarter jurors.

Not really the ideal but given the circumstances, I'm not comfortable questioning the actions of a grieving family that obviously don't want to let baby Margo out of their site.

This was not a random infant in attendance but an infant that was kidnapped, rescued, turned over to CPS, and placed in a foster home -- all before the agency dropped its claim and allowed the baby reunited with her family. I also doubt any of HB's family or friends protested Margo's attendance. MOO

Agree 100%. There is no way I would let her out of my sight at this point.

What could that doubt possibly be? Been trying to think of how she and her proud defense attorneys could provide a reasonable defense and explanation as to how MF was last seen with HB and then found to just so happen to have her deceased body in the trunk of her car in the backyard of her home and HB’s baby in her possession? I can’t seem to come up with a scenario that could provide a reason to doubt. JMO

All the attorney said was that she is to be presumed innocent until proven guilty.

"As with every American accused of a crime, unless the State can prove these allegations beyond any reasonable doubt, Ms. Fieramusca is innocent."
Magen Fieramusca set to make first court appearance on Jan. 2

right, and MF has not been charged/arraigned on murder nor thru the court process of trial or a plea deal. Technically, she is innocent, imo.
Even tho what we know points in a different direction.

Well, never say never, lol. Nancy Grace (if defense) could weave a pretty good tale, imo.
I think in this case all the attorney can suggest is MF saved baby M from the real killer, didn’t know what to do, feared for her life, etc. maybe come up with a mystery car-jacker or some other bizarre explanation. JMO

and there is the mental competency issue that might factor in: again, moo

CONFIRM THAT AN ACTUAL CASE HAS BEEN FILED AGAINST YOUR CLIENT
Your client’s case may be delayed by the fact that formal charges were never filed against your client. While this does not happen often, there are circumstances where “defendants” are placed in jail without any charges actually being filed. In many counties, without direct filing, a person may languish for a long period with no charge having been filed, yet a competency exam is ordered and, on many occasions, the person is sent to the state hospital—to be “restored” with regard to a case that does not yet exist! Please confirm that a case has been filed to avoid delays.

Again, we don’t know the route MF’s legal team might elect
Nor am I implying MF is mentally ill but if she needs an evaluation, there could be a delay, imo.

State Seeking Room for Mentally Ill Inmates

“Many of those people who should be in state hospitals remain in local jails for months, or even years, without regard for their presumed innocence and without the ability to go to trial,” said Beth Mitchell, supervising attorney at Disability Rights Texas.

Nice find.
Texas Rangers babysitting pending warrant, I would imagine.
I wonder how she behaved in their presence, whether she was still trying to maintain the facade of 'helpfulness' or was it too close for comfort and did she betray herself?

Oh no way imo should Margo be anywhere else period. I’d be shocked if she weren’t There. In my family we do as our loved ones who’s service we are attending would want. My grandma for example made sure to inform everyone years prior that everyone of her greats and great great etc better be there at her service. I’ve lost count of how many just grandkids there were let alone the next generations but we lost her in her 90’s last year and there were infants of all ages kids of all ages. One a couple days old. It was HER funeral and her wishes. I also have mixed feeling about these things because when my dad passed it was sudden and a horrific time my daughter was barely 5 and at that time she had been very close to my dad. She had also recently been dx with Autism she was was non verbal and could be a real challenge at times back then. I didn’t want to take her. But my mom was totally upset that I would even think of not including her. She was his world the family needed her there . If she was loud or did something inappropriate well then to bad if anyone had a issue with it. They could leave but this wasn’t about anyone but us our family needed to be intact the rest of the visitors didn’t matter.

She also had to sit right in front with her siblings She was who she was autism was something she had but it wasn’t who she was. Btw everything went well. And of course I had prepared her prior to the funeral as to grandpa was in the the coffin let her see him privately etc. she kissed him but didn’t cry she smiled actually like she was seeing him elsewhere. My little girl also had saw him the week before he died though ( we lived 800 miles away). And she didn’t want to leave when it was time she signed that gpa would be gone “no more” grandpa- and was freaking out when we left . So off topic here but a 54 yr old man dies 3 days later. Some times kids just have a connection to what we adults don’t. Maybe Heidi’s baby there was the best Medicine people could see she’s not gone she lives on in her babies.

Now I wouldn’t take a young child to a friend or distant family’s funeral. That’s not really appropriate imo but in this case. She’s is right where she should be.

If she did it, they'll charge her.
I much prefer to skip the entire court drama, it is rarely cathartic and never answers my questions.
Impossible to anticipate in this case.
I'm not a fan of the death penalty and I find it barbaric.
If she did it she'll be convicted.
If she gets the DP, there will be at least 10-12 yrs of appeals ahead for all of us as well as a massive cost to the state.
Jurors will do what they always do. Swear blindly they have no misgivings about a DP and changing their minds half way through the case when the full realisation hits them that their decision is what will determine life or death for a possibly deranged criminal.

I reckon we're as well off taking the long view here 'cos nothing's gonna happen anytime soon, if ever.
