While MF proved to not be a friend, one cannot discount that up until her arrest, MF was in fact considered HB's best friend that even attended the birth of her two children. I don't think she had to try to hard to be convincing. Still in disbelief, SC was recently quoted as saying HB loved MF, and how they were very close friends.

Nobody copped her at all.
She's some operator!

I’m curious though, if MF enters a guilty plea, she still must face sentencing. Would DP be on the table despite plea?

Would the judge then decide the sentence (excluding DP) or must the defendant’s fate be determined by a sentencing jury?

What advantage would it be to the State of Texas to accept a plea from her?
Avoid a trial by jury like woman in your story?
Would it?
This is going to cost as much money as it would to rehome very many homeless people, whatever way the cookie drops.

Difficult day for this community, for the family .

The worst part, is the horrible loss of trust. This woman was pretending to be concerned about the case, finding the "killer", all the while pretending to support Heidi's mother, but really just trying to pump her for information about the investigation.

That is beyond depraved.

Actually -- I believe the total count after the murder charge would be 3. (There were already 2 AW -- kidnapping and corpse).

Sometimes the loved ones of the murder victim prefer life in prison w/o parole over the death penalty -- due to their religious beliefs, or because they don't want to have to deal with all the appeals, or for other personal reasons.

If Heidi's closest loved ones want the death penalty for MF, I think this case merits pursuit of it.

If her loved ones would rather see MF spend her natural life behind bars, the prosecution should accept a guilty plea and full confession in exchange for taking the death penalty off the table, if they can get it. JMO.

Tammy Broussard said she had doubts about Fieramusca's alleged pregnancy, saying in her interview with "Dateline" that it didn't look like she had a "pregnant belly." She added that Fieramusca's main concern after Heidi Broussard disappeared was the involvement of police.

My heart completely broke at the end of the clip, when Tammy got emotional and Andrea Canning said that “Tammy’s granddaughter is thriving; her 6 year old grandson misses his mother very much.” That poor little boy.

"She premeditated all of this," Tammy Broussard said in an interview airing Friday on NBC's "Dateline." "We really want to know why. Why would you hurt a friend? I mean, you're supposed to be her friend. Why would you do that? We would just like to know why."

Broussard said that while she knows her daughter would forgive Fieramusca, she herself has no words. Sometimes, she wants to pick up the phone to call her daughter about something funny, and then she remembers her daughter is gone.

"You know, it's like you see a table full of candles and all lit, but then they go and snuff it out like that," Broussard said. "That's what she did. She took the light away. Heidi was a light in everybody's life."
