I don't think it's califlower ear, just sticks out some. Ears consist of cartilage and soft tissue, so I'm assuming she had been decomposed too long to know what they looked like.

Just talked to Dr.Derrick:

"I was just in the act of emailing you. Our office did not release the approximation – it was released by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. When viewing the approximation, please concentrate on the mid-face. The teeth are not as perfect as they appear and the hair is too light and not curly enough. The approximation also makes her look older than she is."

She was mentioned earlier in this thread, and if I remember correctly, someone reported that she was found but I haven't been able to confirm this. It's worth looking into since the resemblance is strong IMO.

Hey, I found a database that profiles missing persons in Mexico. It's in Spanish and, unfortunately, not all of the girls have pictures attached to their profile. But it DOES list hair color, hair texture and length, exact height in cm, and even the size/shape of their lips, eyes, face etc. So even if you're like me and your Spanish isn't the best, it's worth taking a look at on the off chance Smurfette was originally from Mexico.

Towards the end of that discussion thread, it is stated that Ali Lowitzer is the last one still to be found. Since information on several of the 7 girls is sparce, it is very possible that she slipped through a crack and is very much still missing.

I did some research on Samantha Duran Monday because she looks so much like the sketch. It seems she was located last April.

Important UPDATE: Just shortly before both fathers appear on today's show Samantha Duran was found alive and safe. The show today will be about what families must do and the hope in not giving up!

She looks a lot like the sketch, and it looks like she could have an overbite!

However, it sounds like Pheonix was abucted (taken from her car with the key still in the ignition), and she would have had to be kept alive presumably captive for a few months. That's certainly possible, but I just have the feeling that smurfette was a runaway.

I think, for future reference, that Phoenix’s face bears a pretty good resemblance to what I would expect ML12-3150’s face to look like. This is not her, though, excluded by dental and DNA.
