Would it be out of line if I asked the mother what she could have been wearing? or if she had a smurf shirt? Is this against WS policies?
No need, Dr D will take care of this. It's just the waiting game for us....
Awesome
I have a major gut feeling that this is Odalis. I can't seem to understand how each and every missing child is not immediately entered into national databases.
Just received another email. Dr. D said she contacted HPD and that Odalis is not Smurfette, she didn't give an explanation; but sounds like Odalis had made some type of contact after Smurfette had been found.
It would be nice if we could get Smurfette on Doe Network. Lots of LE and families check Doe Network to see if a missing loved one is among the unidentified. For example, Samantha Bonnell's mother often checked Doe Network to see if her missing daughter may of already been found deceased. There was an episode on Disappeared about Samantha's case.

I absolutely LOVE doenet, however they don't feature many recent cases and when I say recent I mean within the last 10years - this is just based off of my knowledge of their missing index, I rarely use their unidentified index.
Doenet really comes in handy when you are looking for a decade(s) old case.
Did we ever find out what was that potential lead that Dr. D was talking about?
Do you suppose we could get a new thread for Smurfette? This one is so long it's very difficult to find anything.
Maybe we could move the most recent ruleouts table to the front of the new thread, too. Or at least a pointer.
