I wonder if Williams' parents are living or does he have any siblings who will testify that he was always a good kid? I also wonder if he had any close friends before the monitor thefts? Apparently his reputation was once good enough that he was able to get elected to the justice of the peace position.

Perhaps family ashamed of him. Or may be even estranged. Nobody was there to testify for him.
