I know you were not replying to me but I can tell you that the services provided include:Just out of somewhat relevant curiosity, what do the intensive in-home reunification services look like?
-regular and frequent visits by caseworker
- individual and family therapy
- substance abuse treatment
- parent education
- help with childcare, transportation, and budgeting
- job training
Some of these services can even be provided in the home. There is an excellent program called MST (Multisystemic Therapy), for families with older children with behavior problems, where the therapist spends several hours a week providing intensive family therapy in the home.
It is convenient for the family because they don't have to go anywhere or pay for it themselves. The purpose is to keep the child in the home.
I think the OP was suggesting that there should have been much more provided to BB than there appeared to be.
They should have visited at least once a week and could have provided counseling services.
A lack of funding and case overload are frequent problems. Imo
