Updated at 3:42 p.m. with the drone pilots’ change of plans.

North Texas drone pilots were going to search for Marisol Espinosa, the Pleasant Grove mother who’s been missing for a month Tuesday. But plans were cancelled later in the day, and now it’s unclear whether the drones will be involved at all.

Though a month of searches by police, family and volunteers have been unsuccessful, the drone pilots were optimistic, said Chad Frazer, of the North Texas Drone User Group. Frazer is a Navy veteran and former contractor who flew drones for military search and surveillance missions.

Frazer said he was told Tuesday afternoon that the drones were no longer wanted for help searching on Wednesday.

I wonder why the drone isn't needed anymore?

More than a dozen people seeking answers in the disappearance of a Pleasant Grove hairdresser gathered Saturday evening, 1/30, outside the home of the parents of her ex-boyfriend in the 1900 block of Utica Drive, they were also looking for information about his whereabouts. Valdez was last seen Jan. 3.

Members of Valdez’s family were seen in a parked car down the street from their home, but drove away without commenting.

A few Dallas police officers were on hand, but there was no new information.

Marisol's family were on site, the report stated the possibility of the body being Marisol. Prayers for Marisol and her family.

I'll add the link as soon as it's posted.

Tragic news. :(

They're almost 100% it's her, just hasn't been announced for certain. This area is known dumping dead dogs and other animals used in fighting or starved...also sacrificial uses..this is a DAILY event on dowdy ferry road and us dog activists have been constantly bringing awareness that is ignored by authorities. This mother would've been found sooner if they would've listened to us.

A body was found Sunday afternoon in a wooded area in Hutchins off Dowdy Ferry Road on the outskirts of Dallas County.

As of Sunday evening, the person’s identity had not been determined, but the family of Marisol Espinosa showed up to the scene.

Espinosa, a mother of three, went missing in late December. Her vehicle has since been found, but no trace of the hairstylist.

The body recovered Sunday was found near a bridge. Espinosa’s family says they heard about the body being discovered and showed up in hopes of getting answers from police.

A man looking for stray dogs found the body and called 911.

Because of where the body was found, fire fighters used an engine ladder to hoist it up. It was transferred to the medical examiner’s office for autopsy and identification.

Officials working to determine if newly discovered remains are from missing Pleasant Grove mother

Human remains were found under a bridge on Dowdy Ferry Road in the same general area where searches for a missing Pleasant Grove mother have been conducted, police say.

Police were not able to confirm whether the remains belong to Marisol Espinosa, 34-year-old hairdresser and mother of three who disappeared Dec. 29.
