After scanning these 11 pages I'm theorizing that she was abducted either at or enroute home from the nature preserve. I believe her phone either went out during the messaging exchange or it was disabled at point of abduction. I don't believe she would start a biking trip after 8:30 pm, and especially don't believe she'd go all the way to Lake Ray Hubbard (a 35 minute drive minimum on high-speed toll roads, far, far longer if mapping out a backroad route) to bike in that questionable area in the dark. I'm very familiar with the Dallas area, and trust me, it's not feasible. Plus, her neighbor noted her lights were still on and blinds up after she was reported missing. I think she left her apartment while still daylight with lights on, blinds up, with the intention of only being out a short while - to hike a bit at the preserve. Her body was found floating in the Lake Ray Hubbard shoreline by a passerby who pulled her to shore; a few articles also say it was 'near the highway.' I'm wondering if she were killed and then her body dumped from a car off the road into the water in the middle of the night. Or, perhaps taken out in a boat and dumped, but the proximity to road and shore make me think the former. Her car wasn't driven out there, nor is there a workable system of public transportation out there to consider for that time of night, so I believe she was driven out there before or after her death. So very sad. I also wonder if her death was perhaps indirectly related to her recent change in job situation...I'd be wondering about the new acquaintances she may have met in recent weeks. (Though that could also just be a coincidence.) The fact that her phone and a water bottle have not been found is also suspicious, and makes me tend to think foul play (starting around time of her nature preserve walk) may be involved. At least one article in these 11 pages indicated it was homicide detectives from DPD working the recovery scene at Lake Ray Hubbard.*****Sorry for the block formatting (it's ignoring my paragraph commands--guessing javascript doesn't like being turned off and on, but it's the only way I can read in here). ***ETA: another curious thing to look into might be the fact that someone who by all accounts was bright and had a promising future was let go (given a "severance package") by the acquiring firm.
