So have they found the car? It almost sounds like it was found.
Yes the car was found unlocked in Austin in an area that family is saying the couple wouldn't have gone into. On the family fb page they're saying that Michael's phone continued to ping until 3am and stopped in Austin. They found the car almost 24 hours later, unlocked with no one in it. Michael has had heart issues and they seem to hint that he's on medication for it.

Families concerned after 2 reported missing in Temple

Jenna Scott's father, Jonathan, says he will be in Austin to pass out fliers to help find his daughter and Swearingin.

"My daughter and Michael are both very responsible people. They would have let somebody know if they were doing something," he said.

Temple police also said there is a concern for Swearingin's health. His mother says the concern is related to prior heart problems.

A request for comment or confirmation of a car being found from Austin Police Department has not been returned. As of Sunday evening, there has not been an update in the case, Temple police confirmed.

Father of missing Temple woman speaks out:

[...]

Jenna Scott's father, Jonathan Scott, spoke to KCEN Channel 6 News about his daughter's disappearance.

"First and foremost, we appreciate everything that everyone is doing," Scott said.

Swearingin and Jenna Scott have been friends for several years after meeting each other through mutual friends, Jonathan Scott said.

Swearingin's friend Michael visited the Scott household on Friday to ask if the family has seen the two. Scott said that's when they realized the two were missing, and decided to file a missing person report for his daughter. Swearingin's mother filed as well.

"The worst outcome is... they aren't with us anymore, or they could've been kidnapped," he said. "At this point, anything that we would think would be speculation. We just know they're missing."
