It is far more difficult to evict "family members" than tenants who are paying rent. Did you read about the man-child who wouldn't move out of his parents house in NY? It took them months and several court proceedings.
30-year-old man who wouldn't move out of parents' New York home gets booted by judge

In my state you can evict a tenant who isn't paying rent in 30 days. You have to go to court and then the sheriff posts an eviction notice on the door. If the tenant doesn't move in the allotted time, the landlord has to go back to court and then the sheriff deputies are sent out to physically remove the non-paying tenant. In other states it takes much longer. This rule doesn't apply to people who you've allowed to live rent-free in your property.

I doubt the Sheriff was attempting to serve an eviction notice. CW knew where NO worked and could have served her there.

BCSO 'not ready to say' mom killed 2 kids then self at Anaqua Springs Ranch home

This has prob’ been posted. IMO, it is very informative:

He said that while the medical examiner has ruled Olsen's death a suicide, he considers that information "somewhat preliminary," adding that authorities are running a toxicology report on the three people.

"You have to resist that urge to say, 'Well, case closed and let's move on to the next one,'" Salazar said. "We've got a lot of investigating yet to do in this case. We have to get that right."

Salazar said his investigators haven't ruled out the possibility others were involved.

"My investigators are being completely thorough, up to and including not ruling out the fact that there may be somebody here that wasn't on our radar before," Salazar said.

Salazar said investigators are reviewing neighbors' surveillance video, gunshot residue evidence, social media accounts for all involved, cellphone records, text messages and more.

Salazar shared the phone number and email for the homicide office and encouraged anyone with information about the case, and other homicide cases, to reach out through those outlets.

"It's not that I'm not totally convinced by (the evidence)," Salazar said. "We owe it to the public and to the victims in the case, and their families, of course, to continue this investigation. We can't just say, 'Well, this is what the medical examiner says, case closed.' We've still got two murder investigations, at least at this point, on these two young ladies. We have to find out who it is."

Authorities said it's unclear who owned the gun used in the killings, saying they are treating property at the home as belongings shared between Olsen and her significant other. Salazar declined to say whether Olsen left a note.

Olsen's longtime friend, Rick Wright, said Saturday he doesn't believe Olsen took her own life.

"I would say that she would have had to have been killed," Wright said. "There's no way that she would have taken her life, or taken anybody else's life like that. That's just not how she was. That wasn't her - how she thinks. She loved life too much."

Montez's father, Carlos Montez, said his daughter had turned 16 in October and that he had planned to celebrate a number of milestones with her, including buying her her dream car and taking her to her birth city of Honolulu.

"When I think about the things I'll never be able to do with her, it's hard to face," Carlos Montez said.

Tributes poured in for Alexa Montez on Twitter, with Clark High School releasing a heartfelt message about the sophomore and her "contagious smile."

Below are a few of the tweets:

Editor's note: KSAT has made attempts to get in contact with relatives of the 10-year-old victim, but has not yet been able to confirm the girl's identity with them

JMO but it may also be more difficult to evict children from a residence if they have been living there.

It’s one thing to throw an adult out on the street, but a mom with two lovely daughters...?
There are public service agencies where licensees and tenants with such hardships can go to petition the court for an extension on their evictions.

Maybe they did go to her work, we would not know.
The reporter specifically pulled records for the home address. I don’t know if she worked the days of the attempts. Looking for dates. Lots to wade thru.

The sheriff brought the court papers to the house. The sheriff. These weren't court papers delivered by FedEx. The sheriff brings and posts eviction letters.
(I'm a landlord. I've had to evict renters. This is what happens.)
Yes the sheriff serves eviction notices but he also serves many other kinds of papers. Unless/until he announces what kind of papers were served and to whom, it’s all just speculation.

In many gofundmes, there is a Facebook page attached so you can so who is collecting the money. Nichol's doesn’t have that. The name of the person collecting the $55,000 is shown as NAL NAL. Seems legit to me (sarcasm).

When will NAL NAL start whatever he/she/it intends to do to “seek the truth” with the $55,000?

Does anyone know if NAL NAL is working with the sheriff’s department at this time?

Wonder why they feel the SO won’t do a thorough investigation, as promised?
Often, a PI will volunteer services. Maybe one will.

No one EVER thinks someone is capable of committing murder-suicide. It's beyond comprehension.
Ok that’s weird. It shows me as being quoted but I did NOT make that post. Reporting to mods, @Tricia and @WS Admin because there must be some kind of quirky thing going on. Adding screenshots of how the quoted post showed up and what my post actually was.

Wouldn't the cracks of her life be on display for everyone to see if she'd received 3 eviction notices? How can you hide that?! I'm suprised no one has mentioned that or maybe it has been on social media. And why would Salazar give up that information?

Where are we getting that she had received even one eviction notice? Am I missing something?
