There was a recent case, I followed on Websleuths (sorry, but cannot recall the name) where a young girl was in a car parking garage with her male 'friend', going to their separate cars.
After loads of lies, the 'friend' was arrested for her murder, having abducted her from the garage,

Yup.

Also in Texas.

Christina Morris

Since there are endless threads for anyone unfamiliar, here's an article shortly after her remains were finally found so kind of "late-ish" case that's a bit of a summary: Remains found in wooded area identified as Christina Morris, missing since 2014

Is it possible the time stamp on the camera was incorrect? That the lunch incident was not actually hours before she showed up at that residence?
Also, how far away does this ex live then? Why was it stated so early on and for many days that he lived there? Is it close? She could have been confused due to being upset and inebriated?

I haven't seen anything yet about the reward or anything new on the news. I know the detective was waiting for confirmation. Any updates?
waiting on detective to read his darn email that the reward is set up thru the lawyer, he seems to like taking his time..lol We wish he would hurry it up just a little!

I think police have an accurate timeline as they will know when she left work, and the exact time of calls she made afterward.

I’ve always been paranoid in any parking garage. Maybe I’ve watched too many horror movies. Plus, a few scary incidents. It just wouldn’t be a total impossibility for someone to have taken Prisma in the garage. I assume the cameras would have caught it, though.

Did y’all see the way she was looking towards the corner at the parking garage? I know I’m possibly off the mark. She seemed to hear something. She acted the exact way I do when I hear someone walking from around a corner. I worry someone could have waited on her to get off the phone and grabbed her. Again, I’m assuming the cameras would have caught it?

All JMO.

Also, I wonder why she parked her vehicle the way she did. iirc, it was partially blocking the street? Why would she do that? I’d only park like that if I thought I’d be immediately in and out of wherever I was going. And, tbh, I’d maybe park like that if I was really pissed off, and still thought I’d be leaving immediately. It’s always bothered me that her car was parked like that. All JMO.

I agree. She either planned to just pop in and out, or she was running late for an appointment and couldn't find another parking spot. If I'm not mistaken, her car was reported to police only the next morning, so maybe she could have gotten away with it. A third possibility would involve some sort of an emergency. Parking there could also mean that she did not plan on going any further into the complex.

This is from rewatching a YouTube video (on Gray Hughes' channel) of the inside of the nearly empty garage. In the surveillance video she was standing relatively close to the garage entrance. To the left of the elevator there is a corner with the first access door presumably leading to appartments, with a reserved parking spot to the left of the door (seen in the empy garage video). I'm not sure if someone would be hiding so close to the entrance. Towards the end of the surveillance video there's a brief change of lighting on the elevator door, which could indicate that a car drove by at that moment, while Prisma is still on the phone. By turning left at the end of the video, she's moving toward the centre of the garage.

I thought that the private investigator knows Prisma's step-father. Why doesn't someone just call the PI or go to see him and let him know?

yes, he knows the PI, the lawyer had to email the detective a copy of the paperwork with amount of reward, once he reads it he can have a press release, her dad has tried calling the detective working on case all morning to let him know that the reward is sitting in a secure account thru lawyer, and the detective not pi has not returned any calls as of yet. So just like her family everyone is waiting on the detective to announce it!

Thank you for explaining it. I know I’m reaching, just trying to think of what’s even a remote possibility. I’m pretty lost as to what happened to her. I have theories just like we all do, but right now, it seems we don’t have a lot of info. I’m counting on LE & the Rangers to have a LOT more info than we know. jmo

I wonder if people park like that from time to time in the same area. Maybe that’s why it wasn’t reported earlier. Idk.

If an emergency had forced her park like that, seems she would have mentioned it to babysitter later on? Wasn’t that call later? Or do we know...

It would seem that the call to the babysitter was almost 3 hours earlier - I believe 3 pm was the time of that particular call. The call she was on while she was seen on video was only a few minutes after the time where they have the surveillance video screen cap of her parked car, though we haven't been told who she was speaking with. How long her car was parked where it was prior to that screen cap is unknown to us but would be helpful to know.
