Father seeks help locating 3-year-old daughter​

SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas (ValleyCentral) — “Wherever you are, Rilee, know that I’m fighting for you. I love you, and I’m not ever going to give up on you. I’m still here, and I’ll see you soon.”

That is the plea of one South Padre Island father, Dakota Crouch, who has been looking for his daughter since July 2024. The last time he saw his daughter was when he returned her back home to his mother on July 2.

Just two days later, when he went to pick her up, both his daughter and the child’s mother were gone. He claims he has been having a difficult time getting the police to help.

It has been almost two months since Crouch has heard from his estranged wife or daughter, 3-year-old, Rilee June Crouch. His daughter’s mother, Lillian Maria Crouch, also failed to show up to the court hearing in the parent’s custody battle.

Family holds rally for child who went missing at South Padre Island

A family is continuing their search for a child who went missing at South Padre Island over the summer.

Family and friends held a rally on Saturday with signs in hand and t-shirts showing Rilee's picture. They are asking the community to help bring her home.

According to the DPS missing persons bulletin, Rilee's mother, Lilian Maria Crouch, is accused of abducting her.

Rilee's dad, Dakota Crouch, says he has no idea where they could be and wants someone to come forward with information.

The statements from the mother's family members are bizarre and border on disturbing, in my opinion. Have to imagine the mother is getting help from somewhere.

This feels like such an echo of another case, a generation ago. Exact same thing. The father didn't get much help from family or LE, the mother's family rallied and helped the mother and child live in Mexico until the child was an adult. Prayers Rilee is safe and happy with her mother.

IMO this case reminds me of Seraya Harmon's. I hope that little Rilee comes home safe as Seraya did!

A father has not lost hope in the search for his 3-year-old daughter who went missing at South Padre Island.

Dakota held a rally with family and friends Saturday to spread the word about Rilee’s disappearance in hopes that she will make a safe return.

Rilee’s disappearance has been described as a family abduction.

Dakota urges anyone with information on Rilee’s or the mother’s whereabouts to contact South Padre Island authorities or DPS.
