Cindy Splater said she is worried and growing suspicious. She hasn't heard from her son Robert Bond, 40, for nearly two months.

Now when she calls his phone the line is disconnected.

They're both from New Caney, but Splater said her son moved in with two people in Houston back in May. After not getting any word from her son she reached out to them.

"They told me that he had left the residence after a confrontation and they gave me different days of when he left from there," Splater said.

"He was working for these people that he lives with on Sage Road in Houston and now what kind of work he was doing? I get conflicting stories about that. I really don't know," Splater said.

Bond was last seen on Sage Road near Woodway Drive going in an unknown direction. He is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. He is bald and has brown eyes.

Bond has a tattoo on his forearm that reads "All who wander are not lost."

Homicide investigators serving search warrant in ongoing missing person case, HPD says

Information is early in the ongoing missing person investigation on Thursday, but police served a search warrant in an Uptown neighborhood.

Search warrant executed in Houston’s Greater Uptown area connected to man missing for nearly 3 months

The warrant was executed at a home in the 100 block of Sage Road, the same location where 40-year-old Robert Bond went missing back on June 16.

HPD says homicide investigators and SWAT served the warrant earlier Thursday. Two people were found inside the home and are now facing drug-related charges.

• Sean said Bond was a stranger when they met in May 2024 through the Kennedy's rental home repair business.
• Sean says after a month, he and his wife told Bond he had to move and that's when Bond vanished.

"Our entire intention when we first met Robert Bond was to be Good Samaritans, to show him a little bit of charity...He became very unpleasant to be around. When he demanded money from us, that's when I said enough is enough. You've got to find another place to live ...He didn't say where he was going or what he was doing. He was upset obviously, and he walked out of our neighborhood, and we didn't see him or hear from him since."

Robert Bond's family hadn't heard from him since June. Now they believe he's dead and just want to know what happened.

• Sean Kennedy appeared in court this morning.
• Prosecutors said that shortly before LE attempted to serve the warrant yesterday, a gunshot went off within the residence.
• LE believes this was to delay execution of the warrant and allow more time to dispose of evidence.
• It's unknown when Kennedy's wife will appear in court.

Police execute another search warrant in case of Houston man missing for three months

The Houston Police Department executed another search warrant in the last known location of a Houston man who’s been missing since June.

Houston police served a previous search warrant at the home and arrested two people on drug-related charges.

KPRC 2 crews at the scene saw Texas EquuSearch crews arrive with a canine unit. Investigators were also seen using hand tools.

Investigators return to townhomes in Galleria area with new search warrant tied to missing person case

Family members said Robert Bond has been missing for months. They said they lost contact with him a few weeks after he moved in with Sean Kennedy and his wife.

Thursday's search was focused on a different townhome on Sage. Texas EquuSearch crews were seen going into the backyard with a K-9, shovels and buckets. It's unclear if they found anything.

Rose said in June her brother told her he was being accused of theft by his roommates. She said after not hearing from him in a while, she called one of the roommates who told her Robert had walked away from the house.

Attorney's home searched again after house guest's disappearance

Investigators revisit a home tied to Robert Bond's missing persons case while the homeowner is now back behind bars.

• Houston PD officers were at the home on Sage Rd for at least six hours on Thursday.
• They were seen taking photos inside the garage but wouldn't say what they were looking for.
• Investigators say Robert was seen leaving the home on June 16.
• He had been staying there with atty Sean Kennedy, his wife Alle Price-Kennedy, and their children.
• Robert was on probation for drug possession and LE found meth and cocaine during the 1st search.
• Alle said she has a big heart, convinced her husband to let Robert stay there, but he started using drugs.
• Alle said when they found out, they confronted him, called his probation officer, and he ran.
• After the Sep 5 search, Sean Kennedy was charged with drug possession and his wife with credit card fraud.
• That search also turned up stolen credit cards, Social Security cards, and mail from neighboring properties.

• Both Sean and Alle bonded out of jail, but Sean's was revoked on Wed for violating bond conditions.

Houston Attorney Sean Kennedy and his wife Alle Price just last month were charged with a host of crimes including Credit Card Abuse and Fraudulent use of Identifying Information for her and a couple of counts of Possession of Drugs for him.

Now, just this week they are both charged with Burglary of a Habitation. According to court records, the couple burglarized the home of one of their own neighbors.

According to court documents, Price was in possession of "50 or more items of identifying information, namely, the name and date of birth, the social security number, a government-issued identification number and financial institution account number of" nearly 30 different people.

Price and Kennedy are in jail. They have bond hearings next Wednesday. They have not been charged with any crimes relating to Robert Bond's disappearance.
