I’m now questioning whether that light colored object he handed the driver and then seemed to return to someone in the truck was a cleanup towel. The driver had it for about a whole 5 seconds. Even the most nervous person would think they’d need to do a decent cleanup job. Could it perhaps have been a towel to cover the gun, and then both were handed back the truck driver to get rid of?

I thought it resembled a roll of paper towels.

You could be right. Maybe the Kia driver wrapped the gun quickly and handed it to the truck driver and kept the rest of the roll for later use.

The cameras on top of the traffic light poles are used as sensors to signal that a vehicle is waiting at the intersection for the light to turn green. This video is not recorded.

Leon Valley has cameras, but according to their website, it only records if a red light is run. I think perps would avoid LV cameras anyway. (I would avoid Bandera Rd if I was up to no good. Heck I live off of it)

Truck comes from one direction, then the car from the other. Seems to me these people know the lay out of the apartment complex and planned to meet there and dump the car.

Also the left blinker is on as the car enters the scene and approaches the truck but then goes out. LE better be swabbing that turn signal stalk for DNA. I doubt the morons wiped that off.

Hard to tell if headlights are on or off but I think they are off. What does everyone else thing about the lights???

It also seems to me that the Kia door is opened when the large man gets out of the truck.

I don't think there is anyway for that car to be print or dna free, especially if they moved the bodies.

I’m wondering if the truck was caught on video at the victims’ apartment. Surely there are cameras there, and the fact that her purse and at least her phone was left at home makes me think they could have been forcibly taken from their apartment.

Excellent police work the SA police department is doing getting that very telling video out so quickly imho. Bravo!
I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t already know who the portly guy in the dark truck is from other cameras around the area/ license plate match/tips. Also triangulating cell data because the drivers of the car and truck had to be in communication to meet up in that apartment parking lot the way they did.
The sloppy big guy is going to have a very, very rough time in Texas prison

Or did they meet up with the evil perps somewhere off the beaten path in the Leon Valley area and then were killed and driven a few minutes away to a dumping spot the perps were familiar with?

Everything about this one has really gotten to me- from the domestic abuse to SS losing her 15 year old brother to drug violence so recently.

The man getting into the truck seems on the shorter side. The way he gets into the truck looks like he steps up and has to adjust to then get into the truck. My husband is over 6 feet tall and when he gets into his truck he doesn't need to step up and then get in.. he just gets in. I on the other hand am short and when I get in I have to do similar to what this guy does. Step up and then get in.

That would be my guess. (truck was described as dark colored pickup truck, with a bed cover, no definite color)

If that's a women driving the car I would be really surprised. How many women do you know that could drive a car with a deceased, shot in the head, nine month pregnant female slummed over in the passenger seat with a baby seat in her lap. That would be some kind of harden women. She could probably eat things that would make a billy goat puke.

Several days ago, I thought of what Susan Atkins said before she killed Sharon Tate and wondered if the last thing Savanah heard was along the same lines. ("[word you can't use on WS}, I don't care about your baby.")

Also the perp in the white shirt grabbed the driver’s door when it was about to swing closed so maybe police were able to get fingerprints?

I wonder if one of the perps had lived or worked on the property at one point but weren’t aware that afterwards cameras had been installed or that residents were able to install their own?

Even if it was a wig, they can still match fibers.

They could have left in a rush for a real quick errand and didn't think to blow the candle out because they'd be right back- but I wonder if the candle was a prayer candle? Those stay lit for days on end before burning out entirely. They could have had one lit in remembrance of her brother during the holiday season, or blessings for a healthy baby, etc.

Oh I know plenty of little guys that drive big trucks. The do make those steps that allow you to step up into larger trucks. I don't see those on this one, but it's possible they are there. I don't mean he adjusts the seat.. he just has to step up and then get in vs just grabbing the handle or steering wheel and sliding in. Unless this is one of those really large trucks.. doesn't seem to be from this view. Looks like it's average in side.. not one of those jacked up ones or one of the dually type ones. Just seems like this man is shorter so has to step up on the side of the truck first then get into the seat. I am not sure if that is making sense, but I noticed it because it's how I have to get into my husbands truck and I'm 5'4" and my hubby just effortlessly gets in and he's over 6 feet tall.

....All my own thoughts here, and thanks for letting me get them off my mind here. I think there were two perps, and maybe another as a ride after the deed. The missing phone probably had some valuable contact info, but the perps taking it made it harder for the bodies to be found for days, so I wonder what their reasoning was taking his phone. Her not having her purse screams abduction. JMO here

I agree there were at least 3 involved. It appears there were 2 in the truck. It looks like someone tosses the big guy the towel.
I can not begin to imagine how anyone was able to drive that car with SS dead in the front seat. I just can’t wrap my mind around it.

i worked in prisons for a long time and most inmates dont really care. they have a special disdain for actual child SA-ers but not really murderers. also this is local stuff. cartels would have disappeared them rather than leaving them 10 min away from home.

i think they were killed elsewhere, placed in the car and driven there. now just gotta make the arrests and find out where. very sad life for this young mother.
