In some reports on this case police indicate the dark pickup is apparently a Chevrolet Silverado with a bed cover. That does seem to be the case. Based on the style of the rear taillight in the video it may be a circa 2007-2013 but perhaps police have better information. It does not appear to be the more recent style of either the 2014-2018 or the 2019-2023. (Basing this on the larger wrapping white reverse backup lens of 2007-2013 and the swale or deflection in the center section of the 2019-2023 (which does not seem to be the case)).
It does not appear to be the Z71 variant as no decal markings; but they might have been removed. It might also be a GMC? Does not appear to be a Ram? Hopefully this and the bed cover will help police in attempts to locate it. MOO

I think it was a newly purchased used 2013. I wonder if you need a subscription service which they probably didn’t have, or if basic data is still recorded somewhere, if that model came with it.
If it was somebody who had been in that car before... And the car has Android Auto or Apple Play... They should be found quickly. I almost feel as if the lil person driving is the killer and he or she had to show big guy it had been done. It's also very possible they both were present when they were killed. My opinion only.

So many of you point out things that I might've missed, so thank you. Please keep sharing what you see and your own thoughts. It has left many of us deeply upset to know there was a very pregnant woman and a baby that was to be born at Christmas time, and instead these despicable perps came along with a horrible agenda. Can't wait to hear they've been caught.

i worked in prisons for a long time and most inmates dont really care. they have a special disdain for actual child SA-ers but not really murderers. also this is local stuff. cartels would have disappeared them rather than leaving them 10 min away from home.

i think they were killed elsewhere, placed in the car and driven there. now just gotta make the arrests and find out where. very sad life for this young mother.
I think they were killed in the car only because SS was in the front seat. Seems they would have both been dumped in the back if they were moved after the fact. JMO

I don't know how all of you can see the details on the Kia driver! I try slo-mo. Hi res.
But it looks that person is wearing a mask. But only can see them for a second, so it could simply be a reflection of sorts.
I’m with you. I am unable to zoom into any video footage on any site, and while I can slow it down, and am watching at the highest res possible, I can only see the person getting out of the car appears to be light skinned.

This is going to sound crazy but if the driver of the victims' car was female (long black hair), perhaps that is a middle aged couple in the video!? Heavy dude and his missus tidying up a nasty crime scene?

100% there's a third person at least in the truck also, maybe more, it could fit five people. Is this a family issue? It all looks so unlikely! I appreciate this is most likely to be a feud and / or drug and crime related but what if there was some intention to remove / kidnap the baby?

Who persuaded this young couple to suddenly leave their home in such a hurry and is that on CCTV?

Maybe SS thought the baby was coming right now, her water broke, she was in pain, or maybe she started bleeding and they jumped in the car to head for hospital and got jacked / followed / hit along the way?

I need my glasses, I can't tell for sure if it's a woman with the large stomach or a man. Anyone else?
The truck guy in the white tank top is a dude. I can at least see that. Also truck guy looks older than the Tik Tok crowd. Also truck guy doesn't have an "Edgar" (upside down bowl) hair cut like MG and many of his friends have.

A part of me does wonder if the driver of the black truck could also be a woman because of the wide-set hips, gait getting into the car and the slight curvature of their chest (looked liked they could have had breasts)?

However, could definitely see the argument they are most likely a man based on other people’s impressions.

I hope that the families of SS, MG and baby Fabian get justice and answers.

100% the person who leaves the truck is a man

The person driving the victims' car who briefly steps out and leans up, IMO could easily be female. Pale skin, long very dark hair, small build and agile. I think they're passing the gun or something else they don't want to touch out of the victims' vehicle.

So, IMO someone in the truck passes the heavy dude out a rolled towel / cloth, he gives the driver the towel for them to put something in and they hand it back with something inside. Unsure why they would slightly exit the vehicle, to what purpose. It's not a clean up job IMO, it's handing the murder weapon out probably.

Oh I know plenty of little guys that drive big trucks. The do make those steps that allow you to step up into larger trucks. I don't see those on this one, but it's possible they are there. I don't mean he adjusts the seat.. he just has to step up and then get in vs just grabbing the handle or steering wheel and sliding in. Unless this is one of those really large trucks.. doesn't seem to be from this view. Looks like it's average in side.. not one of those jacked up ones or one of the dually type ones. Just seems like this man is shorter so has to step up on the side of the truck first then get into the seat. I am not sure if that is making sense, but I noticed it because it's how I have to get into my husbands truck and I'm 5'4" and my hubby just effortlessly gets in and he's over 6 feet tall.
I don't think it means anything. I have OEM running boards on my vehicle and I never use them to exit whereas sometimes I use them to get in and sometimes I don't. In this case, he uses them to also exit and I think it's more about the man's weight than his height. JMO

Agreed that it seems to be a large man. Stomach to be determined whether it’s all physical or a combo of physical weight and something under the shirt. Possibly with a thick head of black hair, or wearing a hat, IMO.

Agreed. But why would they do that near floodlights behind a building and not in a more remote location like in a dark park with no one around!

Nice recap! I can't tell if it's a white towel or a white trash bag.

I agree with whoever said there's another person in the back of the truck that hands heavy guy what looks something like cloth, like to me, a rag. For sure, the person in the back seat of the truck reaches out to hand heavy guy something. Check out the :32 second mark in the video. There's no doubt someone in the backseat of the truck.

Later heavy set guy takes something from the Kia which in my mind looks like a big envelope, but help me figure out what it really could be. I'll try to get a shot of heavy guy taking something and throwing into the truck.

Can't seem to capture a clear shot of driver in Kia. I bet heavy set guy will be easy to identify. I also think there's more videos from other cameras that will help nab these perps.

Desperation, foolishness, over confidence that nobody's going to take much notice. I wonder what time it was, as LE haven't informed the time and date but say it was 3am they probably wouldn't imagine anyone's looking or that anyone would review their CCTV.

What location was this handover? A place both sets of people already knew, that's what.

I imagine that two young fit able perpetrators were in the victims' car for the action of the murders. Maybe wired on drugs, maybe a hit, maybe a feud, maybe a downright execution. May even not have gone as planned. Maybe after they drove around a bit or parked up somewhere, rang a friend or family member and said come get this hot weapon far away from us, cross over outside 'x' spot for the handover. A place they were already both sets familiar with as they wouldn't want to be hanging around anywhere could be seen or driving on roads they could get pulled over.

For some reason, I can zoom into your video link above but not any of the others! I wonder why the Kia driver stepped out for like two seconds only. Were they perhaps sitting on the gun?

From the full police press conference posted upthread, the Chief specifically referred to the truck as a 'Chev Silverado.'

He states there are two persons of interest from the surveillance video: party driving the Silverado and party driving the Kia (i.e., police don't believe the driver of the Kia was either victim MG or SS).

Police surmised the cloth/towel was perhaps used to wipe down the side of the Kia.

No other information offered during the PC.

ETA: To be clear, LE had an opportunity to view the surveillance video before releasing to public and given TX also has felony murder laws, a third suspect inside the truck could also be charged with murder. Given LE did not identify a third suspect inside the truck, this is not factual and should be treated as rumor only (not allowed on WS).
