According to this video, Sini Mathews isn't a Registered Nurse. She is a LVN who is currently not working.

Which makes a laptop from a medical facility even more odd.

Can someone tell me what kinds of things are contents of power equipment? I'm drawing a blank on what this means.

It said black & Decker but did not specify what kind of power equipment. Could be a lawn mower? (Grass was also listed) Could be a black and Decker brand shop vac maybe?

Let’s not forget the Costco receipt on the evidence list. Hopefully he only bought food & not “outdoor” gear. The receipt was listed as being from the SUV. JMO
Can someone tell me what kinds of things are available at Costco? Like basic store sections? I've never been in one. Does it have sports and outdoor gear sections like Walmart? Or gardening sections, tools sections, etc.?

My only guess would be they were lying out somewhere, in an office maybe? So they gathered it up as possible evidence for motive?

Could have been--this past weekend was the deadline for filing IF you'd filed for an extension back in April. (Guess how I know that? :))

My first thought was that he'd been doing his taxes and the paperwork was thankfully right out in the open...along with the seized "red folder containing church banking documents," etc.

Bulk items, clothing, some outdoor equipment depending on time of year. Mostly people shop there to get food in bulk. It’s like walmart on steroids lol

I am not very in touch with what might be found in home decor sections these days. I know the spoon/fork wall hangings were popular around the 70s. Can someone tell me if this kind of thing has made a comeback as decor? Because I find this odd if it has not become a trend again, unless these being hung on the wall has less to do with decor and more to do with displaying the potential punishment for the kids as a reminder of what will happen if they do not stay in line.

Maybe contents of a vacuum canister.
I think the vacuum bag was listed separately. It would be odd to call that contents of power equipment. I am still unable to visualize what kinds of things this might cover.

Maybe they meant like a Black & Decker DustBuster hand vac? They have a small removable dirt cup inside.

Ok. Very odd phrasing. We have lots of power equipment here since we have 2 acres and an old house that needs a lot of fixing, but I just can't visualize what "contents" of such might be. I would think that contents of a shop vac would be listed as contents of vacuum. The fact that grass has been listed... maybe blood appeared to be present on the lawn. I would think one would attempt to hose that off instead of cutting the grass to be rid of it, so contents of a mower bag also seems odd to me. I guess we're just not going to know for awhile, if ever, depending on if these contents actually yield evidence.

Looking at all that was seized is giving me confidence that LE are going to get this case resolved. There is a lot of evidence being gathered and studied, not just in regards to what may have happened to little Sherin, but what may have motivated this happening. Because of the array of technical data and the electronic trail that needs to be deciphered (including the car system sent to Quantico) it may take awhile to flesh out the full picture, including motivation or anyone else who may have been involved or at least in the know--but I think they'll get there.

I just wish little Sherin could be found quickly, is all.

Costco sells a bit of everything. Pharmacy and food items as well. Our Costco does sell outdoor gear etc. but is seasonal here due to our climate.

They are definitely a trend again, especially now since kitchens are viewed not as just a room with a purpose of preparing food but a room to decorate almost as extensively as you would a living room or bedroom. I wouldn't find that kind of decor odd to be in the home.

However, because other wooden spoons are listed, I'm thinking similarly to what another poster already mentioned: sounds like someone (perhaps the other daughter) mentioned a wooden spoon being used as punishment and the decorative spoon and fork wall hanging was taken just to cover all the bases?

I think it has been stated that no one else other than the parents and 2 children lived in the property. I'll see if I can find a link. I really need to start savings links to all the stuff I read.

I know what you mean. On one case, I kept notes and that was really helpful when the case dragged on and details got murky. I have only done that once, though.

I was surprised to read that only the parents and two kids lived in the house with three cars. I was assuming another adult was there, perhaps someone who looked after the children and household, but I guess that isn't the case.

In the UK you can get Black & Decker dustbusters which are handheld vacs.

It helps. I've done this with a couple of cases but for some reason I thought my memory would serve me well (why? It never does) - I'll take screenshots and notes from now on! Instead of spending all morning scrolling up and down Maria Guerrero's FB trying to find what I'm talking about! :blushing:

Yes me too. It doesn't seem necessary for them to have so many cars (especially if she wasn't working) but everyone is different.

Good idea!
B+D also makes a leaf blower with a vacuum setting and small bag attachment so perhaps could be the contents of a leaf blower as well.

I'd agree they were likely taken (along with the other wooden spoons) because LE had either info or a theory that the kids may have been punished with them. Number 34 states that a "wooden" fork and spoon were taken (along with other wooden spoons), so JMO, but I don't think it'd be the framed canvas wall hanging fork and spoon offered upthread.

Black & Decker also makes one for vacuuming out your car. Plugs into the power outlet in the car.
