Calling an non-emergency line is also a red flag.

Calling a non-emergency line involves searching for that specific number rather than just calling 911. Wonders why you would do that for a missing child.

#WesleyMathews - Det. Victor Diaz is on the stand. He stated Wesley Mathews waited 5 hours to report #SherinMathews and when he did call authorities it was the non-emergency number.

WM was read his Miranda rights, which he waived.

In interview, WM, SM and both kids sleep in the same room. Sherin in the crib, the rest share a bed. Sherin wouldnt drink her milk in bed, so he took her downstairs. Still wouldnt drink so put her in the garage. Came back later, she hadn't so placed her further outside. Still didnt drink so he put her out further.

WM - she was meant to finish her special milk by 9pm. By 10pm she hadn't even had half. Was being very slow. Needed to finish before going to bed.

By 12, WM tells Sherin he has to go work in the morning, you have to drink your milk! So he puts her out in the garage.

Closed the garage door and switched lights off, to make her drink.
(he is so calm in this interview, like he is telling a really boring story!)

WM opens teh garage door, tells her its dark out there & Im going to put you out there. You are going to finish that milk!

Now playing #WesleyMathews's police interview. He told police #SherinMathews went missing at 3:15 a.m.. When he couldn't locate her he went inside and waited for his wife to wake up. He stated he was scared. (We now know this was a lie.)

Puts her out even further because she still wont drink. Leaves her out in the dark for at least 15 minutes. Then puts her by the tree even further away. He goes back indoors and leaves hert here. She watches him walking backwards. He hides so she can't see him. She is just standing there going "mmmmm".

WM says at 3am it's pretty vacant and quiet so figured she would be fine out there by herself.

He realises there is no sound from her, so goes out to look.
She was wearing yesterdays clothes and pink sandals, not PJs.

Defence suggest agent used the most "shocking" photos of Sherin's body to show the jury.

Seriously?! As if there would be a GOOD photo a decomposed 3 year old that had been shoved in a culvert for a week!

WM went out & she is gone. He thinks she is hiding, uses a singsong voice to call for her. He could see in the distance. No sign of her.
