She wants to be called Ann.

While she said authorities said her age may be in her mid-20s, Ann said she remembers the age 40.

"I think it's more like 40," she said. "That may be the one thing that you don't want to admit to, 40 came to mind."

I think she's closer to 40 than 20 too. Mid-thirties is my guess. She looks like my contemporary.

I'd like to know more about the flight! (Ok the former travel agent in me comes out)
This girl remembers the word E-Ticket. Therefore, some of her memory is coming back. That's not an everyday word.

I believe that in dissociative fugue the loss of memory can be very specific and just related to identity, most of the time - she would remember e-tickets and ipods and bluetooth.

Although we don't know exactly when, we can narrow it down a bit, I am sure. She would have been on camera surveillance and you need ID to get on the plane... she had to have some ID with her at some point.

I think they should start scanning the security videos for AA and SWA around the date she was found.

What did I miss?! Where did she mention an E-Ticket? You are right...that isn't an everyday word. Hmmm..interesting!

OK..sorry, lol, this is why this case is touching my heart so much, i have severe memory probs from an accident...I get so upset when I forget or make promises and forget...those that know me love me for it and take it in stride, those who don't get frustrated....it's not easy sometimes.
Well, we love ya! :blowkiss:

What if she's from Canada? Granted, she might have that 'accent', but not if she recently moved there from somewhere else.

What is it about Canada? Just curious! I was looking up pages of Anns and ran into a few from Canada, but not any that fit this particular person.

I must have missed an interview or something! Is there one?! I would love to hear her speak!

Oh, ask about that cowlick please, Christine! Just in case!

Ask if we can get a photo of her tattoo also...since the reports are getting it mixed up! A photo would take care of that problem.

could she be canadian? and thus not on our news and in our systems?

Edited: Great Minds Think Alike!

Am I to understand that Canada is behind in utilizing the internet to help find missing people? I haven't run across a site that works w/Canada yet.

Well, that's good.

My eyeballs are drying up from viewing so many missing women. :( I'm so sad for them all.

She could be from outside of the country, I suppose. People travel all over and NOLA would be one place some might come to visit after Katrina.

Her glasses and her clothes would be giveaways on that tho. They wouldn't be the normal "brand names" we have here.

Could this woman have been in Minneapolis during the bridge collapse and the trauma caused her to lose her memory? And they think she's dead so they aren't looking for her in Texas?

And the accent would be there if she was from somewhere other than the us or canada, no?

Right, so I hope they can give us some of the info or look into it themselves.

That's what I'm thinking unless she has moved to another country recently from here. Maybe she was coming back to visit someone.

Still one would think that someone would be looking for her somewhere.

If you lived in the carribean, could you fly directly into NOLA?
or would you fly to miami?

I saw her on Channel 8 last night. I made my husband stop talking and I teared up for her. I want to believe that she's got a family that's looking for her.

CHRISTINE, please ask if LE can check if there's any unclaimed luggage that might be hers (by name?) or lost purse/wallet in airport lost and found from around the time she was found.
Ohhh-thats a good one!!
As far as the chin being "saggy" I have had that my whole life, it's from a very mild overbite, so I don't think that should be a factor in estimating her age. (But I could be wrong, lol).
Has anyone posted a bulletin about her on myspace? If she is 40 she could have a teen on there, or other relatives.

ETA: I'm gonna go ahead and post a bulletin for her. Add Deanna if you are on myspace in order to pass it along, please
