I’m not a video professional, but I am very interested in enhancement techniques, and so I've attempted to create a better image of the SP’s face from MPD’s surveillance footage.

I know that others have already done this (and my own attempt did NOT result in an image as sharp as others have obtained). That said, I think my result is quite consistent with others in terms of the relative shape and spacing of the SP’s eyes and surrounding area. Thus, I felt it worthwhile to share mine as an independent corroboration of others’ efforts, even though it is not as sharp.

In addition, for those who are interested, I made a tutorial video showing exactly how I created the image, step by step, starting from footage taken directly from the Midlothian PD’s YouTube channel:
