More like assuming but I game for it. And jmho that surveillance camera I thinking they were speaking of. Never disclosed where it was from �� or location of car IIRC that unsure about. Was a while later before the Altima car of interest released

This case should be called the "Maybe" case. I'd retirenext week if I got $1 for every maybe on this case. Lol.

I see the similarity on the RB video, except I can't get past the size. SP is wearing a lot of padding (ever see a picture of yourself in a life jacket?) RB already looks wider/thicker than SP and he's wearing a polo.

One comment was that no one in the SW club could have pulled this off. One of them is a highly educated (BA/MBA from respected schools) and worked corporately quite a bit. I think they'd have good strategic/operational skills. And could have gotten some help. Not saying they did but probably had the capabilities. SP thought through this one a lot. Nothing genius but aculmination of a lot of good ideas and planning. And we don’t know how much luck is involved.

I still see this as a very angry person, personally known by MB (or their spouse)acting on emotion (rage, revenge, wrath, and other irrational things that start with “r”.)

I suspect LE has REALLY verified the alibis. This is an international news/murder case. When you work on what is probably your highest profile case in your life, with thousands of people watching, I suspect they triple and quadruple checked it. Unless they're intentionally misleading the suspect, they are going to get it right.

The reward $$ going way up was interesting. It's now quite high.

I agree with a couple posters that the SW activity is almost nil in light ofthe fact that data/information is probably what's going to put this one away. Another instance of either they've got the case pretty well figured out OR they know almost nothing. And I lean toward the former. If they knew nothing, keep throw SW's out until you do (IMO). Or there’s SW been/being issued that we don’t know about.

I'd find it highly unlikely the person walked there. There's virtually nothing within walking distance (in a storm at 4 in the morning). We saw nothing to indicate SP getting that kind of drenching (wet floors, et al) This person was too calculated to let themselves stick out like that. They had about 10 minutes to get out of there. A car is less suspicious and 20-30X faster.

The only murder case I was pulled into (relative), when they made the arrest,we were shocked how much work they had done and not told us about (we were the closest family), and how they very tightly controlled information (what was released and how it was released). I see the same thing happening here.

That capture of people walking was just for visual aids for the report. That was on Wednesday night at the prayer service at Creekside Church. Also that morning is when the K9 was brought in. Can't find on this tablet but if look for news report April 20. There a lot more video outside the church of people walking than shown in that piece. I think Kerry Sanders of The Today show had a lot.

No where did I state that person was a POI but was in relation to discussion of the gait being more common than originally thought. Same as video of guy in gray shirt walking towards gray truck that a member posted.

Good points. I do agree with you about RBs size. Also if the perp in video is one person, when the perp walks from main area down the hallway and turns so that we see a side view they look thinner. So camera angles must be distorting the image as discussed way back. So is perp chunky or is perp thin? Also, the perp image shown where they are holding the rectangular object and breaking the window they again look thinner and in decent shape IMO. Also if RB in Cali he could not be in the church obviously.

My best guess in regard to the increase in reward money is that LE has many, many pieces of the murder puzzle but they need someone who possesses an important detail to provide the final puzzle piece that will bring it all together. That could be a clue to tie a co-conspirator(s) for one, a motive, if a gun was used where did it come from, etc...

I too think the perp did not walk a long distance to the church and did not plan to walk a long distance when leaving. That might have happened if the plan unraveled at the end as that stage was somewhat out of their control as someone mentioned previously.

MPD has stated that it is still an active investigation and other agencies are still helping. I believe that and agree with you that they are keeping a tight lid on the information getting out. My experience is that MPD will answer questions when they can and it won't interfere with the investigation otherwise they ignore the question and do not respond at all.

I remember it well. For the first minute, I believe, we did not know if it was a man or woman. Finally the camera panned up to a gentleman's face. I don't recall that he was a Texas Ranger. He was wearing jeans and was minus the Texas Ranger cowboy hat.

I was sitting at Target one day drinking a coke and this guy comes walking by. His gait was so spot on to the perp I nearly shot cola out of my nose.

RBBM, #9 unsure if anything missing & #12 true it is unknown what MB had with her, but Per the Ford F150 SW, there was a purse in her truck. Along with a list of what was found in her truck. JMHO

IMHO the perp picked a time more than he picked a day. When MB's daughter accompanied her, it was to classes at 9 am or later, not the 5 am one. So MB would have been alone on any other day at a 5 am class, too.

As for the weeks leading up to Apr 18, you can gather a lot from MB's FB. She was pretty busy. There was a vendor trade show locally. There was the CG trainer trip in Austin. There was a sports playoff event with one of her kids. When the gym manager said she hadn't been in as much lately, I brushed that tidbit off because she was likely just too busy. And unless you have a client you are training at the gym, is it really that necessary to go when you're leading multiple fitness classes in other settings? Maybe to lift weights, but she might have had her own weights at home.

Add to it the blood drive on the day before, Sunday, April 17th. An excellent opportunity to scout out the property - last minute. Not the s(he) necessarily was a donor. Could have accompanied someone or pretending to be there with someone. Could still mean it's a local, since they knew about it or they were tipped off. But then, perhaps they have never been in that church before and they possibly served refreshments in the cafeteria..

I think the EMTs are only seen going thru the SW doors into foyer then into the main hallway. The video comes from an angle, making their path a bit deceptive.

Disclaimer I am on my tablet that had for a year lol and still not good at navigation unit. My mom had surgery and waiting on her to get to room so this occupying me lol.

IIRC those claims were from locals, but they were in Facebook groups so they off limits (don't want anyone get in trouble)

There are 2 sets of glass doors that MB had unlocked. MPD at first news conference said that MB. We don't know how far she went or which direction... Although we do know how the camera videoed the suspect earlier... we don't know what looked like when MB walked in. She could have went to see why door was open if still open and attacked there. Camera would not have picked up in either the Dutch door room or the first door opened in main hallway. Both areas would still be in SW corner of building. Jmho possible that she was partially in hallway or fully and at first sight thought something else. I feel safe saying they weren't expecting what ultimately discovered.

Jmho she was killed where found. Timeline wise. What has been said assault not caught on video but doesn't tell us what was on video. Also jmho we don't know time suspect last seen on video so although many think only few minutes possible to murder and leave prior to first camper arrival. Suspect had until campers entered and fire department or next campers arrive to leave. Hopefully MPD has a lot they are not sharing, I believe they do.

Sorry to be so emphatic Wannabedetective. I just don't think there's anything we can presume or assume here.

They kept saying the driver of the Altima was not a suspect but someone they wanted to speak to hoping the driver had seen something that night.

And why they even made a suggestion about the car (make unk as well as inability to see the plates)
behind the church is unknown to me unless of course, police were indicating that a car had been parked around the back during the murder.

I hadn't given this a lot of thought before because they really glossed over it. But....in hindsight, it is important because it may indicate SP had a car.

Who knows? But I do think it worthwhile to file it in the very interesting category but unknown
if related to Altima, or SP. (For now).
