"He has no history of running away, Miller said, and his worried family has put all their efforts into finding their son.

"They've done every bit of research they can do," he said. "They've been working around the clock for nine days. And so now they fear that maybe possibly something else has happened.""

Oh this is soooo fantastic. Thanks for posting.

In Adam Gilbertson's case, there were no searches that we know of for a month; everyone was waiting on LE and eager to search... His family finally organized a volunteer search and it was only then he was discovered by volunteer searchers. I had expressed and hoped TES would have been able to come in for Adam.

Boys Grandfather was Ambassador to Great Britain during HW Bush Administration. They’re close personal friends. Also, the great grandfather owned Humble Oil, now Exxon.

I’m absolutely positive this is the reason is was not reported.

Leave the judging for the jury, Judge and God! - IMO

Wow...

It is unusual that a car description isn't given. I am assuming he was at the gas station in his vehicle (maybe not?). Carjackings are not uncommon and if he was in an expensive car at 9:30 PM I would think that would be important to note. This story was on all the local news tonight in Houston.

Mods, are we allowed to sleuth the Ambassador of Great Britain?

(Just kidding. I'll probably only have one opportunity to ask that question in my life so I though I'd take the opening.)

On a serious note, with TES on board and well, family ties to the Presidential Adminstration, which likely involves Secret Service, etc, I highly doubt they need me here lol.

Has Wilson been entered into NamUs yet?

Eta: Not seeing it...

Fun fact. When a person's mailbox is full, that person has to clear out messages in order to receive more. :)

Also adding:

"Bring your own snacks, water, and mosquito spray. Dress appropriately for the forecasted weather conditions."

Tim also left a phone number at the link for "if necessary".

Yes, no mention of this...there must be a reason...

It seems the major outlets are covering his story well.

I really hope this kid is found, and found soon, and I hope my gut feeling is wrong. I just do not feel this will end well.

I wonder if he has a second profile on FB. The one noted here does not have very many friends for a kid his age and just looking down the list most are adults and not age related peers which makes me think there is another profile out there for him.
There are some very influential family names the family associated with.

in the video, it's stated (paraphrased)

He was last seen at the gas station at roughly 10:30 pm, last Friday night, coming down to the store.

'Wilson is a loving, engaging person, with a deep sense of compassion for everybody.'

"The teen was last seen on Jan. 19 while leaving a Shell Gas station on San Felipe Street and Willowick Road near River Oaks.

In just hours, Texas Equusearch crews will be meeting on East Briar Hollow Lane. They will be going over a plan on where they will be searching for 17-year-old Wilson Stratton. Search organizers are asking for volunteers for anyone who wants to help search for Stratton Monday morning. If you are planning to help with the search, be ready to search through treacherous terrain. You will also need to bring your own water and snacks.

On the local news this morning, they stated that he was last seen walking from the gas station. I haven’t seen that info anywhere in print but it might explain why no vehicle description is given.

Thanks. I see the gas station is 1.1 miles from his home so that's probably likely that he just walked there. Maybe to get a snack or drink? I wonder what happened to him on the mile walk or home? Or was he even going back home?

Any insights into the area where the search is being held? Is it near the gas station or a main thoroughfare? Any locals with thoughts as to ‘why that area?’
