Lowrey Field is a place Melinda Campos has trouble returning to.
This is actually the second time that Ive been here because its hard, Melinda said.
But she is prepared to spend hours at the field if it means being a step closer to bringing her daughter, Zoe Campos, home.
Lowery Field was the last place Zoe was believed to have been seen. She was eighteen years old when she disappeared a year and a half ago. Her phone was pinned in a one-mile radius from the field.
Imagine not being able to see your kid; not being able to hear their voice; not being able to see their smile, Melinda said.
But she says she is thankful for her supporters and team of investigators, and continues to hang on to hope.
Someone out there knows, and I need them to come up and say something, Melinda said. Were not looking for you. Were looking for Zoe.

A Christmas miracle happened in missing Lubbock woman Zoe Campos' case, Melinda said, when the Texas Rangers and Naval Criminal Investigative Service recently joined in the investigation of her daughter's disappearance.
Zoe, now 20 years old, went missing on Nov. 17, 2013.
"This is something that I've been waiting for, and they say they're one step closer, one step closer," said Zoe's mother, Melinda Campos, "I'm going to have to trust and give them faith."
A new billboard with information about missing Lubbock teen Zoe Campos is now on display on Slaton highway. The sign was paid for anonymously.
"We're so blessed that this person took their wallet and paid for this," said Zoe's mother, Melinda Campos.
Zoe Campos was 18 when she was reported missing to Lubbock Police in November of 2013. According to police, someone was seen driving Zoe's car, a 1997 Lincoln town car, a few days after her disappearance.

“I am frantically waiting on the outcome,” Melinda Campos, Zoe’s mom, said in a brief written statement for EverythingLubbock.com, “I pray that it’s not my babygirl. But at the same time someone will get answers. I believe every parent of a missing child hates situations like this, but prays for answers.”
I didnt follow his case but Google search shows yes same area and I found an article where his was eventually reevaluated and found evidence of homicide.Isn't this the same place Mark Anthony was missing from? I think the family had the same issues with LE. Frustrating but I guess LE can't really discuss the open case so we don't what they are looking at.
