Saw the Disappeared episode and wanted to send love and prayers to Zoe and her family. May she come home soon. And may those who have kept her from you be punished.
 
Another Disappeared watcher here. I cried watching this episode it was so touching her families love for her.I wish they had answers.
I think she went to his house, he would have had pot and offered it to her to come in and made moves on her or she just felt uncomfortable so texted her mother about picking her up. Hopefully that was her that texted. He probably got mad when she went to leave and forced himself on her.
It's weird about the hotel. Maybe she went there to get pot? I wasn't really following if the timeline put her there before or after she went to the guys house? But my guess if something didnt happen to her at the hotel, which I dont know if I think that, I think more likely she was getting something there and then went back to the guys house, even though he said she never came back she did.
It was just luck that the aunt saw him moving her car.
I wish they would find her to give her family the closure. I think the cop is on the right track.
Hopefully when those DNA results come back it is the missing piece he needs.
 
I too just watched the Disappeared episode. I feel deeply for Zoe's family. The detective seems convinced that the person she was last with is the reason she is missing. It was unclear to me when the DNA sample was collected from him, anyone know? The wait for results is agonizing, sure wish that process could be quicker.

My thoughts are with her loved ones.
 
WHY DIDN'T THE AUNT CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY when she saw Zoe's car? WTF? Instead she called the mom, asked a few questions, talked a bit.. then and called her son to meet up with the car.. Then kept following the car, then lost the car. Are you freaking kidding me? I was screaming at the TV - "CALL THE POLICE!!!" Especially when she saw a man driving it! Had she called 911 right away, and said urgently, "My niece has been reported missing, and I'm right behind her car. There's an APB out on the car and I'm following it, please come right away!" - This case would have been solved. They WAITED to call 911 after they found the abandoned car. Ridiculous.

I was not AT ALL surprised when the lead cop said they made the relatives 911 call a "low priority call" and took an hour to get there. The way the relatives handled that night is mind boggling.

This! WTH?? I also would've pulled in front of him to try to see his face in my rear view mirror. Between not calling the cops regarding the car sighting along with taking two days to report her missing along with LE's statement that her behavior put her in harm's way it all makes me think she had previously vanished and returned and possibly other things going on. This was such a sad episode. I pray this poor family finds her and gets some sense of peace.

I thought the same thing, but I could imagine failing to call the police, thinking it can't be what it looks like and there must be some mundane explanation.

It is possible she wasn't sure that was her car and still isn't sure. There is still a chance it was not really her car.

I'm pretty certain LE verified the car is hers. It had her things inside.

I thought they knew that was her car parked but were not sure it was the same car her aunt has seen on the road with someone else driving it.

Thursday night, nine months after Zoe Campos, 18, went missing, her family gathered on the night of her birthday.

Red and Purple balloons, her favorite colors, were launched into the sky. Each one carried a flyer with her photo and a message written by a friend or family member.

Police: Bone found near Lowery Field is connected to missing Zoe Campos investigation
On November 7, 2018, investigators found a bone in the backyard of a home just west of Lowery Field on 70th Street. Police have confirmed to KCBD the bone found is related to the investigation in the disappearance of Zoe Campos, who went missing on November 17, 2013.

Police say new developments into the case led investigators to the bone. Investigators with the Lubbock Police Department’s crime scene investigation team, LPD forensics specialist and the Lubbock County Medical Examiners were involved in the investigation. The investigation is ongoing.

On Wednesday, November 7th, new investigative leads on the 2013 disappearance of Zoe Campos led investigators to a home in the 1900 block of 70th Street. Based on that lead, additional resources such as cadaver dogs were brought in from an outside agency to assist with searching the back yard. A bone, that has not been confirmed as human, was located by Lubbock Police Department investigators and the area was secured. Multiple units including LPD crime scene investigators, LPD forensic specialists and investigators with the Lubbock County Medical Examiner’s Office have assisted with the investigation.

At this time, the findings and that specific area remain an active part of the investigation. LPD will continue to search the area for possible evidence.
