HURST (WBAP/KLIF News ) – The search continues for the North Texas teen at the heart of an Amber Alert issued Tuesday.

*****
Hurst police say she ran away from her father while they were exercising in her neighborhood at the intersection of Bluebonnet and Airwine Drives.

From the article:
"The Rowbothams said Zoe has suffered from mental health issues her entire life, but they recently discovered a long-term care facility for her in Arkansas, and Zoe found out she might be leaving this week."

If you listen to her adopted parents' interview on CBS, you'll hear her father describe that symptoms of her mental illness include issues with "telling the truth, mixing up fantasy with reality".

The missing girl's Instagram page includes photos of mail received from the University of Tulsa.
It doesn't appear that she and her parents shared the same mental model as to what her future would look like.

I'm hoping this girl is somewhere safe, and has the opportunity to flourish as an adult.

Her adoptive parents told WFAA that they're cooperating with the police, have nothing to do with her disappearance and only want her to be found safely.
  • AR said he adopted Zoe when she was just six weeks old.
  • Her bio mom lives in Parker Co and has been contacted by LE but said she has not seen Zoe.
  • Zoe's adoptive parents say that she is compulsive and deals with borderline personality disorder, ADHD and two depressive disorders. They say she is intelligent but has the decision-making skills of a 7 or 8-year-old.
  • AR was the last to see Zoe. He said she's been anxious lately and that a long-term treatment facility was likely in her future.
  • They went for a walk/run on Sunday night, and that's when she disappeared.
  • "Her anxiety was high, so one of the best ways to bring that down is with exercise. We were trying to do a walk/run, and she had grown more defiant. She wanted to go a different way and refused to go with me," Andre said.

"Andre Rowbotham tells Newsweek that he adopted Zoe at six weeks old while in a previous marriage."

More of the same with a video interview.

I was curious, and searched to see if the parent of any missing child on here has called their child "defiant" and a narcissist before.

I wasn't able to find any.

JMO.
