I would like to know where dog found? I think it was reported Zuzu was last seen on Harrison at 3:30 AM walking the dog, but haven't seen where dog was found and reported to animal control. Was dog found on Harrison or another street or had dog made its way back to Zuzu's street?

Her neighbors called about the dog being outside on a leash IIRC. I'm not absolutely sure that she was walking her dog when she was seen on Harrison at 3:00 a.m. I'll see if I can find a link.

ETA: In the video saying the dog was wandering near ZuZu's apartment is mentioned.

This link says residents saw her on Harrison around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday. No mention of walking a dog. Of course that doesn't mean she wasn't.

O.K., here's my best guess after looking at the aerial map. The best landmark would be the CF Ranch to the right of this "heart". Here's my rationale. Her car was found right near her home, which is very close to Hwy 118. Jump on and go, and you are out in the middle of nowhere fast. I chose this area because it was away from everything, and the access roads weren't too close to the farms they lead to. There is one other spot I am interested in on the other side of the highway as well, but it seems the road would make the Perp feel too trapped. I think this is a likely dumping ground. (Sorry about that). Far enough away, and provides enough cover for that type of activity.

I wonder if RF missed any work unexpectedly around the time Zuzu went missing: http://www.pharmacy.texas.gov/dbsearch/tech_zoom.asp?id=187043&rank=TECH#employgrid

Him being a pharmacist also means he had easy access to substances that would render someone unconscious.....just sayin. That's part of my theory from day 1.

I also want to say that I found his FB the day this thread started & after clicking to see his pic closer, I recoiled, unexpectedly. I can't explain it. Had no reason to be suspicious at that point. I hope we're all wrong about him.

IDK if we are allowed to discuss now but those two employment addresses would be good to add to skibaboos's map (if allowed):
http://www.pharmacy.texas.gov/dbsearch/phy_zoom.asp?id=19802
http://www.pharmacy.texas.gov/dbsearch/phy_zoom.asp?id=27226

One of them is outside of town off HWY 118 with a lot of unoccupied land around it and one is just a few blocks from the Stripes convenience store where there was a reported sighting of Zuzu.

Just to clarify: RF is a "Texas Pharmacy Registered Technician." For specific duties, I found the following documents helpful:
http://www.pharmacy.texas.gov/files_pdf/tech_duty_chart_class_ c_2012.pdf
http://www.pharmacy.texas.gov/files_pdf/tech_duty_chart_2012.pdf

I completely get your comment about recoiling. I think it was also the day the thread started that I posted about his FB page, too (I don't think I put a link, but the post got removed nonetheless ;)). I first got his name from a comment on FB. I found his page, saw all the selfies, and then recognized him from one of the photos Zuzu has posted on her FB page. There's something about his eyes I don't like; it's like the rest of his face is smiling but his eyes aren't.

BBM. You don't see "confirmed" cases of trafficking because victims are not named. Police and media will not name a victim by name in order to protect their identity. There have been many cases here where the names of victims were redacted from the threads after they were rescued. I strongly disagree that it "never happens". Just recently, there was a nationwide bust. Here is just one of many articles you can find about it: http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2016/10/29_pimps_prostitutes_in_nj_arrested_in_fbi_human_t.html
The names and pictures of the pimps and traffickers are there. If human trafficking "never happens" why were all these people arrested and why would LE lie about that on a nationwide scale?
Going back to Zuzu, I don't feel she is a trafficking case, Just my opinion, despite Alpine being near the border. IF she was a trafficking case we would not have a POI, her boyfriend, who refuses to tell anything. If she is alive and her boyfriend sold her he could have made up a story about her running off with some men and blamed her and the people he sold her to. No, I think we have a domestic violence case and they are searching for Zuzu's body. I would love to be wrong about that theory though.

Definitely didn't say it never happens. I said that in all the cases of people reported missing that I've followed in 11 years, trafficking has never been the outcome.

I'm also recoiling ... there's something hard in his eyes, and he looks very macho to me.

Alpine, Texas is a small little town by anybodies standards. It's hard to believe anyone could really just up and vanish there for any reason. The boyfriend has lawyered up now, and we all know what that means.............find her yourself.

As you can see on the map, there are lots of wide open prairie as well as rugged terrain, not to mention an entire State Park. Searching all of that in a short time period is going to be almost impossible, not to mention a lot of the land is privately owned. I highly doubt she's anywhere inside the city limits. This story will spread like wildfire and everybody in the community would have heard about it by now. Things like this don't normally happen in that community.

Based on the press conference, her reputation and mannerisms, and the boyfriends lack of cooperation, I think it's safe to say that this case isn't going to end on a pleasant note.

I've been to Alpine (and love it) and the terrain is exactly as you describe. As I read your post I wondered if the use of drones over the open treeless range land has been considered. They might be able to spot freshly dug earth or other telltale signs on public land and private ranches. I believe Tim from Equusearch was planning to use a drone when he was briefly involved in the McStay case, so he knows how to do it. But whatever they do, finding ZuZu will be a daunting task in this vast area.

I do like rosesfromangels idea about searching the land near Hiway 118 since it's close but remote at the same time. It's quite open though, so there isn't much cover for nefarious deeds.

I have to agree with the consensus here regarding RF's FB photos, especially the one where he's pointing at the camera......that one gives me the creeps.

The command center in the search for ZuZu. Staffed by agents from local, state and federal agencies working 24/7. They sort through tips and coordinate searches.

A drone would be a good start to cover that area, but you need some canines as well. We've got some expert trackers who pop in on these threads, maybe we can get one of them to weigh in on the best approach for this type of terrain.

Hi Lilibet, just jumping in here for a sec to respond to your post. Yes, TM knows how to do it; TES actually deployed a drone in the search for Christina Morris, IIRC.

He has what I call "crazy eyes"...just something. Also, he looks MUCH older than ZV.
