Wonder why the mattress didn't show any fluids when LE checked out RF apt? They noted no sheets in apt but what was the condition of mattress? I wondered if he was taking her and the mattress down the stairs when neighbor heard loud noises? LE hasn't stated that I'm aware of anyway that the mattress was missing. Guess I'm thinking that he killed her in bed but could have been somwhere in apt...

Maybe he had one of those plastic mattress covers on his mattress. That would have been disposed with the sheets.

His mattress pad, along with some clothing, was found in the laundry room according to the affidavit.

No trees were destroyed in the sending of this message, however, a significant number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

I think she finally put her foot down and was planning on breaking up with him, but his big ego wouldn't allow it. Zuzu's mother stated that there were problems in the relationship, so apparently this had been an ongoing thing. Robert knew the day was coming sooner or later, and when it finally did, he pounced and attacked. His brevity and machismo wasn't about to let this tiny little girl get the best of him.

In this interview, the mother says that she loved Zuzu, like a daughter.
But in the previous interview, the sister said, “We hardly knew her (Zuzu), from what we knew they had a good relationship.”
So, they hardly knew her...yet loved her like a daughter. :thinking:

Agreeing that above stmts by RF mother & RF sister seem to/do actually contradict each other.

Or is RF's sister is trying to distance herself &/or fam from Zuzu? IDK.
Or is RF's mother overstating the warmth of her relationship w Zuzu? IDK.

Were both of their stmts absolutely 100% truthful? IDK.

Zuzu Verk update: Interrogation expert analyzes Chris Estrada interview

Crime Watch Daily brought in expert interrogation specialist Stan "The Lie Guy" Walters, who helps train police officers around the country in the art of detecting deception, to examine our interview.

"It's contempt, like, 'I'm not following this, you ask me these questions, who are you to question this,'" said Walters. "It's a contempt toward the other individual, disdain, dislike, scorn, that 'the other person is beneath me.'"

Estrada is asked if he's covering for Robert Fabian, and he responds by shaking his head and saying "mm-mm."

Stan Walters calls it an "anger signal," and says he saw it in Chris Estrada.

The Tribute to Zuzu was very touching. What a blessing she was in her short time on earth. The Zuzu Effect lives on.

I was brought to tears by the livestream of the memorial for ZuZu at the amphitheater at Sul Ross State University. I tuned in late, just as her dad Glenn was reading a beautiful statement about his daughter, with his wife and son by his side. Tears and laughter. He commented on the twitter hashtags #thezuzueffect and #findzuzu and hoped that they would continue to have meaning for those who were touched by ZuZu.

Then followed a slide show of ZuZu's life with family and friends. The music was Paul McCartney's "In My Life" and John Lennon's "Imagine."

At the end of the memorial, the president of the university made two announcements: a scholarship in ZuZu's name has been established for students in her field of study, and the brand new amphitheater where her memorial was being held (its first event) would be named after ZuZu. He said that he knew the students would rename it something less formal like "ZuZu's Place."

A reception followed the memorial.

I just have to say that I admire the Verks tremendously. They have conducted themselves with great dignity, class, warmth and gratitude throughout this whole ordeal. At the same time, they showed strength and determination as they advocated fiercely for ZuZu while holding RF's feet to the fire. ZuZu had wonderful parents and her parents had a wonderful daughter. I am sorry I got to "know" them under these circumstances. My heart aches for them.

Now we await justice.

I echo what you have said lilibet. I watched the memorial in floods of tears and thought to myself, Zuzu is such a wonderful role model, her parents are such wonderful role models. I found myself thinking I want to be more like Zuzu. It's not the circumstances you want to have to be in, but if there is any positive to come from this, I hope everyone who has been touched by this is inspired to be a little more like Zuzu, the world would be such a better place. #TheZuzuEffect !!

I missed the ending as my eldest cat is sick, so I need to find it to watch again.

I just don't see that. Zuzu had a good head on her shoulders, and the relationship was rocky. She was a college student looking to transfer schools. I just don't see her getting pregnant.
