I like the mistress theory as well. I think it's very plausible as is my earlier illegal immigrant theory.

I can't believe nobody thought of the mistress angle until Really? brought it up.

However, dismemberment and position indicates, the mother fell victim to the Manorville killer. The presence of the child (I always thought it was a daughter, now suddenly it's gender undetermined) not near the partial remains of the mother but near to another victim shows, those are all connected. Adding to this Jessica Taylor, we have someone who hunts on street corners (because that is where JT worked and where he could have fooled by bad light to go for a transvestite instead a women). However, the presence of the child again indicates a nearer connection because the probability to get to the kid is not ver high under normal prostitution conditions since the prostitute wouldn't bring her child. But since we can assume fairly certain, the Manorville killer was in business long before 2000, that leaves us with only two options. Either the 2000 victim was very personal (hard to say, considering the little LE told us about the remains) or that was a training run in a way. Which would explain the "in between" choice of a victim with a shorter connection and the messed up staging in that case. Just throwing some ideas around.

I am in the boat with you still on the illegal immigrant theory for at least some discussion----the "john got an escort preg and she was looking to be compensated" theory was brought up on another site before it temporarily went down, and some of those people came over to here-not sure either why it was never brought back up again--can't hurt to revisit both

Not sure on that. Why wait until the child was appx 2 yrs old? I really think she was leaving a husband/boyfriend and needed a quick buck. If my theory on Rx is right, maybe that was why the child was with the mom?

I have an explanation... the mother committed suicide by drowning herself in 2" of water. The toddler then took her pants off and walked through the brush towards the lightpost 1/4 mile away, then laid down and died from hypothermia. It makes perfect sense! :what:

What kind of sick mind does it take to joke around about a dead toddler and her dead mother?

Not at all incentive.

I know! It sounds absolutely crazy! Can you believe the SCPD tried to say that happened to a young woman. Oh wait, she was a nameless prostitute, so I guess since she wasn't a mother or child, she must not count. My bad. :what:

leaning toward personal
keep throwing--it's good when you do--it facilitates discussion, both pro and con, which then opens the door to other ideas/discussions, and so forth..

Still, there has been no facial reconstruction of the skull of the the toddler. WHY???

was it bashed? Or maybe bones just decayed. i would imagine a toddlers bones decay faster than a healthy adults.

There must be some reason, right?

I would think, face reconstruction on toddlers is pretty tough. The gaps of the skull bones are not closed yet, the face hadn't taken the final shape yet, so all statistics (and basically there is a lot of statistics about thickness of tissue involved) wouldn't work. So maybe, if the skull and the lower jaw are not in good shape, it's maybe impossible to make a reconstruction?

I just want to make sure that I got the info right on this toddler and her mother. The mother JD#9 is caucasian but the toddler is non-caucasian? They may be missing from 2005-2010? The toddler is from 1.5 to 3.0 years old? One would think that if there was a missing persons report for the toddler it shouldn't take too much more info considering she is bi-racial and her mom is white it should be easy to find out who they were. That of course is if there is a missing person report for them. I think it's important to find out who all the victims are but like most it really disturbs me that this child is still lost in a number.

What makes you think, there's a missing person report? The mother, the most likely person to report a child missing, was killed. And if she lived in such a socially remote bag of society, that nobody reported her missing, who would know and care enough about the child?

I did state "that is if there is a missing person's report." I realize that it may be unlikely that there is one. But there is a possibility that no matter what the mothers profession was someone in her family may have reported her missing along with the child (that's even if the family knew of the child). Just trying to keep the interest in the process of identification of the victims out there.

well good on ya OTC,

I've not seen the Mother listed as Caucasian anywhere. can you give me a link to that?

I am looking and can not find it. So I may very well be confusing the mom with someone else. I will continue looking because I try to make sure to research before posting. And I was so positive I read or heard she was caucasian so I posted. As soon as I find it I will post or if I feel I have exhausted my resources and can't find it I will also post that.

That was a good question about the race of child's mother. I looked through everything I have and looked through google and can find no mention of the mother's race and the child is always listed as "noncaucasian" so I think they are purposefully withholding that information for some reason.

I've run into the same issue. Always a listing for the child and not one for the mother. It's odd considering I would assume it would be much easier to determine a deceased adults race as opposed to child since all the features are already developed.

It is so unlikely that a missing child would not be reported missing I think all these unidentified victims were illegal aliens, maybe Russian women originally smuggled in to work in the clubs.

The Russian dancer/sex worker angle might not be far off. Here with no family so she has to take the kid along to a John's house. No family to report them missing either.

no worries there's much to take in with this case. it could be as I surmised in a earlier post maybe her skull wasn't recovered, the skull and teeth I think are how the race is determined.
