Interesting about the phone signal
In the early days in a broadcast Galloway said he knew her whereabouts but was keeping this confidential.
Then when Malyn arrived he only described it as within a said radius.
I wondered if Galloway was using kidology to flush the perps out?
Galloway also believed that Claudia had left for work that morning from her home. Malyn was less descriptive about that.
I always thought that breakfast dishes and a toothbrush checked by police more than 40 hours after her last sign of life-(Phone call to Mum) Would be unlikely to provide dated forensic evidence about the time these items were last used.
Was he not bundling her two sightings together and comming up with the theory she walked to work?

I suppose Galloway was working with what he had at the time. In the early days, it was also said that CL was a respectable, middle class country lady - until things got a lot more complicated.

She befriended colleagues who would be chefs-Anth Newby etc. And some that we don't know of and then those that she met in the local. her male friends we know she had affairs with were all older and the only exception was Dan a long term boyfriend. But did she have one night stands with younger men?

This came up from 2009 as a suggested viewing on YT. I thought it was interesting. Apologies if been shared before as I'd not seen it. It's an interview with Mark Williams Thomas. Was any mobile phone signal triangulation made public or kept quiet by NYP? Those CCTV stills in B&W I'd not seen before. MWT says the perp (s) is someone that she knew. I'd agree with that.

My eyesight seems to be getting better, it must be as the cctv stills of claudia here I can see clearly, as opposed to the ones released later by the nyp which frankly don't show much

Agreed and at 1m 21s a really good close up of CL's face the day before she disappeared.

Talking about Claudia working in a male dominated industry,
one of the strangest reports I heard was that 12 months after she disappeared a colleague suddenly remembered that she told him she had a new boyfriend and stayed out nearly all night on the Tuesday.I cant imagine anyone forgetting something as important as this when it concerns a high profile murder investigation

Haven't seen many of these wives who were her friends quoted or interviewed expressing there sorrow over Claudia's disappearance

Yes I believe in acomb work male friends, and there partners did not like Claudia turning up and just sitting around.I was told in a message by a friend of one of the wives.

I never know if the police are giving hints or just saying that things might be possible

I remember that not long before it became a cold case, the police said she wasn't necessarily in her own house and that. was a good example.

I agree that the police put the case on the shelf when finding a body just seemed so unlikely.

I wonder if they've been holding off as well and just trying to follow the threads to a major drugs figure....we wouldn't necessarily know of the link if they'd got someone....or it might have just gone cold.

I have to have my brain seen to at the beginning of next week...no surprise there...so ill be absent for a couple of weeks....I may be typing normally when I get back, and that will serve you right.

Yes the manager of monkbar hotel.He is also friends with peter lawrence.Himself and two other male chefs are thought to be claudias closest friends.I was told they had been under a lot of questioning over the years.

Also odd that the colleague said he didnt drive to work via his usual route near Claudias home on the morning that she disappeared but chose to drive via a different route. It just doesnt sit right with me.

@Yozzer I have seen posts in social media that confirm what you have said here. She was quite open about visiting male colleagues at their home and meeting their partners
