Won’t post his pick! But the others name is
Well assuming he is one of her chef friends its in extremely bad taste. With friends like that who needs enemies?? I note the picture bears he same date as Claudias 43rd birthday
I think the picture refers to Claudio ranieri who was sacked by leicester city on the 23rd of feb 2017. Leicesters nickname is the foxes.
Wonder why it was posted on Claudia Lawrence's Birthday then? 27th Feb, not 23rd Feb

Good question FG The hours I spent cruising all the areas mentioned in the case on Google street walk and Ive never seen Claudia in her car. Ive also looked for her as a passenger in another car I havent seen that either.
In cleaning up some of the cctv presented in the case I have seen images that resemble Claudia. I'm NOT an expert in cctv but have learnt a lot when trying to clean up cctv, but what has become obvious that the cctv recording are over recorded ( im not sure if its every 30 days) inevitably older images of people vehicle and objects leave a footprint on the tape, it makes it extremely difficult in figuring out which people, vehicles and objects relate to the date and time you are viewing.
Oh, fine! Then I haven't a screw loose, when I see other people/faces/bodies in those pics.

Ive also seen a lot of what appears to be reflections have you noticed they appear to be people either standing around looking at a screen or in an office enviroment. these are probably captured when a screen shot is being taken.

Hi @moonsafari & @ Yozzer. My brief take on the footage and soundtrack in Heworth Place on 22/04/2015 is as follows:-

I can't hear everything and need to be careful as its a recording of a confidential conversation. The female voice sounds like LE and mentions a male christian name which may relate to AC, plus like others I also hear the word "affair" and the word "nasty". The male voice towards the end seems to be a press cameraman and says "they've been here before" and then asks a colleague if he'd been at Oakworth Place or Terrace. The colleague replies that he hadn't been there but a man from another newspaper had been there.

It has been implied before in these columns that more than one of the POIs lived in HP in the past but no longer and their house/es had been searched before. Remember the police in 2015 expressly instructed the press not to name names or addresses of the 4 men arrested. So I think the cameraman's question about OP/OT relates to a Heworth address searched on 23/03/2015 which begins with the same 3 letters and may also relate to AC. I think he may deliberately uses an agreed incorrect street name to discuss with his colleague without breaching LE requirements, because they sound to be close to some LE personnel.

Hope you can follow this. For legal reasons it's difficult to say more. To me Pudsey is likely a red herring.

obviously, this may possibly be the case and a coincidence about the car....but its certainly. worth looking into, especially re the drugs connection....wish I could find out who was living at that pudsey address then....the man I was lo0king at who was in the interesting group and had or has a wife who is a chef seems to have gone from having no children to at least one between cs disappearance and the report, so that could have been a reason for a move.

I think what we can say at this point is that its promising re the car....but how much this group had to do with cs disappearance, we can't say.

it may be the case that they'd been observing this person or group for other dodgy doings and that road name simply came out as a cover, without their realising it could....and I want to stress only could...be linked to Claudius case

in an ideal world, I guess any groups of drug dealers of significance would be checked for any possible connections to this case, but I imagine resources and the chance of being able to ascertain anything with certainty make this very difficult

I dont know who half the initials refer to, so you'll have to pardon my ignorance

Theres no doubt that the POI's in this case lead lets say 'interesting' lives as the picture builds Im sure we will uncover more interesting personal stuff about them but can we ever hope to solve the crime concentrating so much on them because it doesnt take a person with a double digit IQ to work out that there has always been a code of silence around this case and noone at the top or the lower ranks are ever going to 'squeak' you got to find the people who were who were involved on the periphery of the crime these were the people probably bought in to do it and sort what happened in the disposal of the bodies they will have less allegiance and its these people that are likely to have spoken about their part in it. When you have proof of who they are then you can work up the chain and where this will involve a lot of work on our part I think it would pay off.

Just my opinion

The reality of contract killing in Britain tended to be striking only in its mundanity, according to David Wilson, the university's professor of criminology. He said: "Far from the media portrayal of hits being conducted inside smoky rooms, frequented by members of an organised crime gang, British hits were more usually carried out in the open, on pavements, sometimes as the target was out walking their dog, or going shopping, with passersby watching on in horror."

Highly likely in my opinion FG.....

When viewing the cctv of the breaking car on Heworth road and The Alleyman I have seen a figure in Camflouges on breaking car cctv hes in the garden of the Limes then up against the inside curving wall I then see him climbing over the wall. On the Alleyman cctv I see him looking over the wall to the cottage (I see him in other instaces but prefer not to say at this stage) Is this someone doing a recce.
When Deadbeat posted this It caught my attention where some would discount it out of hand I havent because it might just tie in. Mayln said this case might break open when a relationship breaks down and someone will speak out. It would be a mistake to relate that comment only to the POI's relationships.
I think this might be a lead that has legs....

thanks for sending me the stuff about the transcript of the video....as you know, ive been short of time but I think ive got the gist....cant keep up with you lot.

ill definitely be leaving on Tuesday for about a week, so can you please not include me in conversations until my return....thanks.

I think trying to start with the minnows is a great idea....I doubt the police had got very far with their watching of the nags and then of course it was all blown apart.

I can't understand why there are things we dont know...eg is it true that c was going to work 11 days on the trot or whatever she said

I assume we have to take it as true

We dont know of evidence to say this is true or not however it's unlikely that, from a Wednesday Claudia would be on a rota to work all those days in a university cafe that's there for student use.

Didnt one of her friends say C had booked off the Friday also??

...and isnt it only the word of JK of the wording of the text? ...and she says some quite bizarre things

yes...and even if the police had asked her boss, he could have had pressure put on him to say shed agreed to do that to save jk....might have said she needed the money or something.

I doubt jk leaves the attic without medication these days....

I'd be interested to hear views on JK,,,I find her and her behaviour very intriguing.

I think that's what most people think sunshine....to put it mildly.

does she get all those expressions she uses from bad action films.

to go back to claudia switching to vodka....maybe somebody with a bit of cash was buying the drinks for her at the ac...maybe she was getting a bit of extra cash from somewhere herself....or maybe shed met one of those strange breed of men who think its not ladylike to drink beer or cider...no matter what kind of dump you might be drinking in

Catching up after a break away. If CL did switch to vodka, it may tie in with the fact she was walking to work (rather than accepting lifts or taxi offers from her dad) because she wanted to lose a few pounds. Vodka is a low cal drink, compared to cider (Quick research 76 cals vodka tonic and lime, 210 pint of cider).
