Oh wow! I haven't even had my morning cuppa yet. Better get into shape lol

Well brace yourself for WT. It's not pretty over there, neither the actual breaking news nor the ridiculous bickering. Several pages of not very much!

Do all men involved fear of jeopardize their reputation and their marriage? If C's friendships were so secretive, why did so many men know from each other? Or did they not know? How is it that her girlfriends knew so little? How was it logistically possible: working shift at University, going to the pub regularly, chilling at Cyprus for 8 x a year, taking men to her home after pub at night, knowing lots of men - and her best girlfriends didn't know at all? When had C slept, when had C eaten, when had C done her beauty care ... and so on. Her day had only 24 hours too?
Apropos escort: An escort accompanies - but where and how long and what about styling for the events and what about overnight stays? This can be hardly compatible with a job as a chef?
I can not comprehend it all. I can not understand why no one has said/says anything negative. How is that possible?? I simple wonder.

It could just be about protecting those men having affairs with her, some will have given information on condition of anonymity (ie their wives not finding out)

I so hope this is the end and justice will be here for Claudia and her family.
I find it hard to believe that she had "another job" as she would have been very busy in her university role.
I've always throught that she had an affair with a married man, who for whatever motivation, killed her. He then called in favors from friends to cover his tracks. The men involved must have a connection - I think it's connected to pubs.

If Claudia had a lucrative "second" job, perhaps the man released without bail was her "employer" (who had "no affair with her"). BUT: how is it possible, Claudia had not enough money to fly to Cyprus then?

@NYorksPolice asking media/public not to name the men arrested. This means we can't ID the homes being searched #bbcnews #Claudialawrence

Claudia Lawrence: three men arrested on suspicion of missing chef's murder

Martin Dales, speaking on behalf of Peter Lawrence, Claudia’s father, cautioned that the family had been disappointed before after what seemed to be breaks in the case.

“Let’s hope it’s something tangible,” he told the BBC, adding that the twists and turns in the investigation have been “stomach churning” for the family. “You think you’re getting somewhere but no,” he added.

“It’s been a long time coming,” he said of the latest arrests.

BBM - Interesting...?

Yes that is interesting, in light of the fact there have been 3 or 4 arrests in the last year or so. Does it suggest the police have told him "this is it" this time??

I was thinking more of knowing about something for a long time and now, finally, seeing the situation being resolved ( am trying to keep my words very neutral here ! )

From Daily Mail article:

Two houses nearby to Miss Lawrence's are being searched by police.
A resident living near one of the houses said police arrived at around 7am today.
Tommy Ward, 81, said: 'It started off with one police car then a few more came.
'It was just around about 7am when everything started up.
'I was outside my house watching the world go by at the time.
'I haven't seen anyone arrested but a few weeks ago some sniffer dogs were
there in the same house. We've had dogs a few times now. I don't know the person who lives there.'

Interesting info about dogs, might they be cadaver dogs?
