Also some are asking if/will the CCTV footage be enhanced. What we as the public have seen is a 480P low bit-rate Vimeo upload and of course the original will be at least 720P and in high bit-rate.

Though I do find it odd the Police are asking about that silver car because the Greenwoods camera would surely have a very clear image of the car if not the number plate. Maybe the Police want the owner to come forward voluntarily?

BBM - I'm pretty sure that's not how the police operate.

If they could see the reg no they would already have traced the car. However IMO it's a red herring, I still can't see this being a carefully planned abduction, there are far too many unknowns for that to be the case. Random opportunist at a push but not ant kind or organised terrorist. JMO

The marham guy claims he fought off two of them. There isn't any evidence it actually happened.
His claim itself is evidence, direct witness evidence. And it has been taken seriously enough by the police.

Facebook rumour suggests it might have happened but may have been a prank gone wrong which IMO seems slightly more plausible

Not sure that's any kind of guarantee of anything, do you remember the supposed abduction of a child a little while back, "witnessed" by an ex police man but later found to be nothing of the sort

I received a message on my messenger from someone who has made no postings on the Facebook page. Trolling, or just odd- I wrote one comment about his use of a phone whilst eating in footage 1.
I ha e just read your comment on the Find Corrie Page. I have mentioned to his poor mum that he appears to be looking around for someone/something in the second CCTV. Assuming Corrie a call, it would appear on his phone records. At first, I believe he could ha e been startled by someone/some and I sincerely hope that is the case because it would mean he intended to go unnoticed. Assuming that this is the case, he could have asked a friend to lend him money so not to arouse suspicion when it comes to action his disappearance.

Did you get the message through facebook? Totally out of the blue, that's a bit weird, are you a regular poster in the group?

I don't assume to know "medics" ..... I do however know "combat medics" though. Lots of them !
Are you american? Rhetorical question. Medics in Britishforces are slightly different to most combat roles.

How could he have been so drunk in 2 hours .why was he thrown out.i was thinking perhaps he was caught taking drugs in the toilets .just a thought not used to this site if i have posted in the wrong place

Nope.... British. And infantry. So I speak from experience on this one.

And notwithstanding, he's in the wrong Squadron if he is an "RAF Medic"
He is in the right Squadron, if he is an "RAF Regiment Gunner, with Combat Medic training".

<modsnip>So, CCTV = 9 or 11? Regardless, if he headed north to go home there I don't think he'd have passed another camera. Are there non on the big roundabout (sugar factrory)?

Then you are probably well aware of their ability to dodge PT. :) for a medic, he was well built and could hold his own as shown by his muscular photos. They are not however the stealth weapons you get elsewhere in the forces.

Yes that was it. So, CCTV = 9 or 11? Regardless, if he headed north to go home there I don't think he'd have passed another camera. Are there non on the big roundabout (sugar factrory)?
This is different to what the uncle was saying, that he could leave "that area" without being seen. But if this is right it completely changes things

Sure I'm reaching but I'm also sure the Police know more about the car given they have access to original high quality CCTV footage. They would at least know the make, model and rough year of the car and checked other CCTV cameras or possibly any ANPR in the area. Also we haven't had an update since they appealed which is weird.

Thanks TTWO. So is the CCTV camera no9 on that map? (I'm sure the FB post said 11 but it doesn't look right to me)

Yes. 11 is the one above Starbucks/Marks and Spencer and 9 is Greenwoods.

Tell that to an RAF Regiment Gunner with Combat Medic training.....I bet he smiles ! And more !

All regiments in the British Army (and Air Force and Navy) have "Combat Medic" courses.

No "brick" in NI left without one in it's team. Everyone in "infantry roles" specialise.
Ya don't just "fire a gun" !

EDIT.... Anyway, it's a pointless argument. He is a Gunner in the RAF Regiment. That's it.
The arguments you put forward are "null and void".

That's not what has been put on his search page - it reads he was attached (as most medics are) to a gunner regt. I hope he is laughing, at your naivety not mine, but as extras to a regt, they are, whilst not excluded, included. Which may explain the lack of notice given when he wasnt in block. That was also why I earlier asked if he drove into town alone.
