I agree that this has not had the coverage one might have anticipated.

Yes, I was thinking the same. Very early in the morning, probably less likelihood of witnesses (although I don't recall there being many in that case either). I wonder if the woman arrested is connected with the man, or just happened along later and stole the phone and/or jacket?

As I said above any robbery might have happened separately/after. It's not a very nice thought, but nothing would surprise me.
