Any intel on what’s going on at the court? Is it packed with press again, or have things quietened down?

For context in terms of length of the deliberations thus far:
The murder of Libby Squire in 2019 (I’m sure quite a few of you were pretty active on the thread at the time!)
Pawel Relowicz was tried for murder & rape. It was a pretty complex case due to the length of time between her disappearance and her body being found.
Total deliberation time for 2 charges was 28 hours - guilty on both counts, (unanimous on rape charge, majority of 11-1 on murder charge).
I remember being so worried at the time due to the length of the deliberations in this case - I had a horrible, nagging feeling as time went on that they’d come back with NG/hung jury. In the end, the jury found him guilty on both charges, and justice was rightfully served.
Hopefully they’re just being equally diligent and thorough, and justice will be done here also.
All MOO! And apologies for the vent, just trying to reassure myself more than anything lol.
Yes, I worried about the murder charge also due to the timings. I 100% think the jury got it correct, but I remember worrying it could have gone either way due to that.I remember it well ...I remember worrying about the murder charge due the short amount of time between him arriving and Leaving.

Did you ever watch Libby, Are You Home Yet? It was heartbreaking, especially having followed the case from the beginning
I am remaining positive and hopeful that there will be a verdict, the jury have not been out that long considering the complexities of the case. Please stay positive, a pot half full is much better than one half emptyGuessing no verdict today? They seem to have been deliberating for an awfully long time now. But then this is the first time I’ve known there only be 4.5 hours per day of actual deliberating. Suppose when you think of it that way, in this case it’s almost 2 days to one actual full day - in many cases a court day is around 8 hours give or take.
I really really hope that this doesn’t end in a hung jury. It would be so devestating. Another weekend on tenterhooks for everyone involved

I would be completely unsurprised by a hung jury and I’ve felt that way throughout most of the trial.Guessing no verdict today? They seem to have been deliberating for an awfully long time now. Beyond ridiculous.Jury have gone home.
Not sitting until TUESDAY
No words.
I agree completely. If they’d had 8 hour days they’d all be done by now and off on their summer holidays or enjoying this beautiful weather. Instead there is another appointment so important that it cannot wait for even one more week until a verdict is reached.Honestly, I would prefer to sit there for 8 hours and discuss matters intensely.
Dragging things makes me crazy.
But it is JMO
That’s so true. An entire day missed for one appointment? Is the judge feeling ok? Why is he allowing this?Beyond ridiculous.
Why on earth can’t they start late or finish early? I wonder what appointment could be so crucial that it would take the entire day requiring yet another missed day of deliberations in a multiple murder trial.
Yet more missed time at the most important stage of this trial.

They’re not children. They don’t need a lie down and a week off cause they heard some distressing evidence one day. At what point does the patience run out?!Is it just me who is fine with juror absences? They've been involved with this distressing case since October. They have lives too so cut them some slack.
Neither do you lolYou don't know what that appointment is.
