I think that is what will condemn them ( and rightly so imo ). NM and SH were arrested on the Saturday, the other 4 said nothing and JP said she was only just thinking about what might be in the bags on Monday evening, just before the police arrived. I don't buy that.

Yes, I agree. I can buy that they didn't realise what they were hiding up until the arrests, but they must have suspected after that point.

I had assumed that it was one of the four who called the police. Is there reason to think it was someone else?

I'm having deja vu. These two are very similar to Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka. Kidnapping a young girl, imprisoning her for what reason? Must be sexual, and then what do you do? You can only get rid of her in the end.

Wow! Becky was afraid and for good reason. I think NM made sexual moves on her prior to her murder which is why she was scared of him. I thought that was the case. I am not surprised.

How sad and tragic. She was in a catch 22 if she revealed her fear to her father and stepmother. How could she without tearing everything apart?

I hate these kinds of cases.

Everything SH isn't. In my mind I can just picture SH constantly complaining to NM about Becky. Jealous?

That's exactly who came to my mind this morn as I've followed the tweets.

Perhaps thought this first kidnap would be relatively easy. May have been practice run, so to speak, in order to continue acting out future demented fantasies of kidnap, sexual assault & murder

Hmm I've never given it much thought before but I can see the initial conversation between NM and the others going along the lines of "hey Bro, can you look after/move some gear for me that's at mine,what with Becky going missing the coppers are going to come round mine for a statement and if they see the gear I'm in deep sh××" - obviously not put as eloquently but I can see that working initially,especially if they were promised money.

What I find interesting is that I'd assumed it was one of the other four who'd called the police when they realised what they'd been looking after but the reporting doesn't seem to allude to that being the case.. seems like the police were already onto NM and SH, who started to panic and police found them and Becky through tracking their movements and the Cctv off nearby buildings

List of items found in shed - including laptop..I'm assuming this was Becky missing laptop and I'm assuming they had tried to wipe it clean of any evidence, doesn't seem any other reason to have taken it in the first place
