Hopefully, as much as the truth will be revealed soon. Imo, not only was SH awake, she was assisting NM, whatever duties he ordered her to do, she would do them lovingly for her man. That part makes me sick even writing it, but she's one sick *****. :sigh:

It's bizarre but, as I wrote this yesterday I could hear my neighbour sawing away with his hand saw we are only attached upstairs with alley underneath and I could hear so clearly so there is no way SH would not have heard anything and it must have been a lengthy process :facepalm: not a 5 minute job so I will never be convinced she didn't know imo she was a willing accomplice who I think is not as timid as what she has been portrayed I believe she is a articulate lying little ***** and I am in total agreement with you that she was assisting NM all the way

Hi all, first post, I've been itching to join in this past couple of days while I had to wait to get my account set up.

I wondered about the first police search of SH/NM house where the bathroom door was the only door in the house to be closed, with a towel rolled up along the bottom of the door and the bathroom window was open. Sounds to me as if there had been an almighty stink of corpse in the house they were trying to get rid of, while there was also a stinking cat litter tray that didn't offend their dainty noses.

Lack of hygiene - SH would have us believe she washed her hands after feeding the rabbit but lived in a complete dirt hole and there was even a toothbrush lying within inches of the toilet pan. Yuk.

So I've been reading some of the earlier articles from when Becky was first reported missing (before her body was found) and I noticed something I've not seen mentioned much recently.

In quite a few of the articles (such as this one http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-BLOOD-fears-grow-fell-victim-sex-attack.html) it is claimed that text messages were sent from Becky's phone to her boyfriend Luke to arrange meeting up after she 'left the house' (or as we now know, was murdered)?!

Is this accurate or is this something that was later amended as a mistake? Because if true then it must mean that either Nathan or Shauna were messaging Luke in order to lead people to believe she was still alive and lend credence to the idea that she had simply run away / left?

BIB I don't think so. In LO's testimony he states that the last text message he received was at 3:52 in the early hours of the 19th Feb. He was asleep at the time and only saw it when he woke in the morning.

We didn't see each other Wednesday as I was ill. She arranged to see (her friend) and I was ok with that. We texted all day. I said I was going to sleep and she said she was in a happy mood."

The jury heard that the couple's text conversation ended at 11.19pm. He later saw that, at 3.52am the next morning, Becky had texted him: "I love you so much."

On February 19 the boyfriend recounted how he attended a dentist appointment and then had a haircut before trying to send a text to Becky, which wasn't delivered.

As I said upthread I genuinely believe that the messages from SH almost always have xoxo at the end, I think the prosecution could prove this pretty easily going by the messages sent & received. To me it's pretty obvious. But of course they can't be sure of this so they can't say for definite. I think your right it is to do with PAYG phones, they really don't need to be registered unlike say a contract.

They are deprived people, stupid deprived people. I'm glad most of their thoughts were fantasy. Of course poor Becky was the unfortunate brunt of their sickness (in my mind they must be sick, they cannot be normal minded people like us) but I am glad they are off the streets. The girl from Laws Kitchen must be so frightened right now, if she of course is following MSM, hopefully she is utterly oblivious.

Yes, I think once they had established a text that was clearly from NM or SH - for instance the one that says B*tch was clearly from NM to SH, then they could work from that ( sometimes, not always of course ) and I think you are right in that SHs texts are the xoxo ones....

I remember, from the very early evidence, that we were told SH was the youngest of four children in her family - so perhaps the baby who was spoiled by everyone ?
But her mother then remarried or had other partners ( twice ) and four more children came along. Perhaps SH felt pushed out, not as special any more.
We were told that she then had a period in care when she was 13, and then met NM when she was 14.
Maybe she was looking for an escape from her larger family where she was no longer the adored baby ? and NM fulfilled the need by making her feel special ?

Thanks for that bh. Are they being held in the same place? Do you think they get the chance to speak to each other on the journey to the court and back?

Just wondering and thinking how horrible it must be (no sympathy at all though, worse the better).

Anyone think that SH might change her plea during the trial?

Also, I don't believe that NM had £5,000 to pay KD. I wonder how he'd raise that amount of money in a couple of days?! Rob a bank? Visit a loan shark? If NM couldn't repay, he ends up at the bottom of the river with cement shoes! (I wish!!)

I doubt he ever intended to pay. He was probably hoping to go back and get the cases etc as soon as Police had finished search and they were in the clear (never gonna happen). The 'assisters' were hardly likely to tell the Police as they were thinking drugs/stolen goods so he would probably just have made excuses. It is laughable in someways as NM thought he had it all worked out. And with SH by his side portraying themselves to all as as the 'kind & helpful' family who were supporting Anjie from her 'selfish' step Daughter'....I can only imagine the betrayal that AG must feel. MOO

I must admit I've had a good look at social media and SH seems to have had quite an unstable childhood. Not that it excuses her at all because none of her sisters or brothers seem to have turned out quite so monstrous as she (IMO) is.

Pre trial SH was in a women's prison - remand section ? ( sorry not sure of exact terminology ) and NM was likewise in male prison - on remand and I do remember the judge in the pre trial hearings stating that the authorities should ensure there was no contact between them.
Additionally, NM was being kept separate from other male prisoners, so would have had no contact with JI or KD

I doubt they would travel to and from court together , as they would be coming from separate prisons.

Sorry, forgot to add - will SH change her plea - if she had any sense she would do ......ah, ok, there's my answer then !

I believe that she has been groomed. By now the police would have offered her a sweet deal if she told all, and she has not helped them at all and I think that is why they have thrown the book at her and charged her with everything possible.
Somewhere in her delusional mind she must think that they will get off on some technicality. I reckon the prosecution have some more shockers to come. I think we will see her break. She must be super hormonal, crikey what a year she has had. She will burst soon.

On the topic of NM taking the rap for SH, does anyone have any idea why he would have asked for SH to be removed from his screen at the remand hearing? They all appeared via videolink from their separate prisons and I'm guessing they could all see each other. His request was denied by the way.

I know it would only be conjecture, but I'm thinking he either felt betrayed by her and was therefore angry or he felt guilty or something by seeing her, but it was an odd request.

Reading up about murder/manslaughter charges etc. (it's raining here!) I came across this article I'd forgotten about :

I found the last sentence very informative. "Specialist forensic investigations" then she gets charged with murder too 4 months or so later.
I think they have some very damning evidence against this couple still to come. imo.

Police investigating the death of schoolgirl Becky Watts have now charged her step-brother's girlfriend with murder.
The 16-year-old's body was discovered 11 days after she was reported missing from her home in St George, Bristol, in February this year.
Her brother, Nathan Matthews and his girlfriend Shauna Hoare, were originally arrested and charged in February this year.
Matthews, 28, was charged with a single count of murder on Wednesday March 4 while Hoare, 21, was accused of perverting the court of justice.
But Avon and Somerset Police confirmed on Monday that Hoare has now been charged with the murder of Becky Watts, jointly with Matthews.
He has also been additionally charged with perverting the course of justice, following the pair's arrest on Saturday February 28.
Nathan Matthews and Shauna Phillips
The couple will face charges of conspiracy to commit false imprisonment, preventing Becky's lawful burial and possession of a prohibited weapon.
They have also been charged with four counts of making indecent images of children, though this does not relate to Becky Watts.
Matthews will additionally be forced to answer a single charge of sexual assault and voyeurism, again not in relation to Becky.
Jaydene Parsons, 23, James Ireland, 23, and Karl and Donovan Demetrius, both 29, were all originally charged with assisting an offender.
Their charges, made after the group were arrested on Monday March 2, will not change.
The fresh charges have been added following specialist forensic examinations to help establish the full circumstances surrounding Becky's death.

Yes I agree. Sadly I think EVERYTHING she has done has been to please NM. She is desperate to feel loved and special, BW in her eyes was everything she wasn't. I suspect she also sucked up to AG AND DG and wanted to be 'the beloved daughter-in-law'. Hence her negative attitude and remarks about Becky.
