I agree. I haven't heard anything so far that makes me think any of the "helpers" knew or even pondered that it was Beckys body, when they agreed to help.

And if JI had never met NM before he might not even know he was related to Becky.

There was and I'm sure he knew Becky was missing but if he hadn't met NM before and was introduced to him as someone who just needed something moving , he might have had no clue there was a link to Becky.

Not sure this is relevant. My husband was in the forces and is the untidiest person ever at home. When he had to be meticulously tidy, he was .... but when someone else is around to pick up after him, he isn't! Same with my son who is in the forces now. Untidiest bedroom at home, never cleaned, but brilliant in kit and bedroom inspections apparently!

We haven't been told yet but if he's the other person accused with JI it may well be.

It sounds like the TA was a real calming influence on NM and helped him in many ways to channel his anger issues. I wonder why he stopped going. If he was still involved with them he might not be in this situation today

No I think it was KD in the car with him as he says that after they dropped the bags off, the male then invited him into the address at Barton Hill.
Looks as though, from this story ( which seems very muddled ) that JI was at work, KD was not. KD phones JI and asks him to get a work van and come down to CML. Presumably KD meets him there and then together they take the bags round to KDs shed.

But at the time, it was being reported that she had walked out and had been heard by other people in the house (identities not given, so lots of assumptions at the time it might have been her brother, iirc). Plus her father's FB message relating to a possible sexual assault, would probably have made NM's mates think it was an outsider involved. I'm sure they wouldn't have considered a sexual connection between him and his step-sister, so I can see why they might not have made the connection.

NM's gran said he gave up when he started his relationship with SH.

Interesting. So he knew how to clean a place till it was spotless, even if he didnt use that knowledge on the rest of the house. Interesting to me as I (bit sexist I know) had assumed SH would be the person who cleaned up. This detail helps her case.

I can't imagine Nathan inviting JI back into the home...esp for a smoke. Why would he do that, esp with the arguing, SH there, etc?

Maybe he needed to keep him onside, he had just implicated him in a crime but at the same time, JI now also was unwittingly a witness to NM's cover-up. NM wouldn't have wanted them opening the packages or asking too many questions. IMO
