Wonder how she explains being shown how to use the stun gun. What a ridiculous liar.

Probably only learnt how to use it because Walsh asked her to !

eta I bet Walsh is pleased she gets to give her evidence after Williams, she's probably making loads of notes right now.

Entry in Kit's diary: 'Got caught up in endless murder plots for Ian's other half'

A diary entry was read out in court from Kit’s 2014 diary mentioning Miss Williams had come round - Gordon Cole QC read out the extract that read ‘Got caught up in endless murder plots for Ian’s other half.’

He asked Miss Williams if this was ever discussed, she said: “No, not at any time, in any way.”

He asked her a series of questions regarding Kit’s diaries.

GC: “Did you ever have access to the diaries?”

SW: “No”

GC: “Did you ever read the diaries?”

SW: “No”

GC: “Did she tell you what she had written in the diaries?”

SW: “No”

GC: “Did you have any control of what went into the diaries?”

SW: “No”

GC: “Did you have any control of what went into the diaries?”

SW: “No control or interest whatsoever in her diaries.”

Miss Williams denies murder plot

Miss Williams is wearing a grey trouser suit and blue and white striped shirt underneath, with wooden beaded bracelets on her left wrist.

She is addressing the jury calmly and gesticulating with her hands to make her points.

Mr Cole asked: “Was a murder ever plotted between you two?”

Miss Williams responded immediately, “No”.

After the trip to Germany Mr Cole speaks about a text sent from Miss Walsh to Miss Williams stating it was a successful trip.

Miss Williams responded in a text saying: “A victory is deserved on the basis of sheer effort”.

She said this was in relation to them almost missing the ferry back home - but luckily managed to make it on time.

So none of this had anything to do with her at all then, she is completely innocent and was quite unaware ?? Yeah right.

Indeed......it's going to be most interesting when we get to the night of the murder, where Williams is - allegedly - sick in bed while Walsh is also - allegedly - at the house.

Miss Williams questioned on her movements along Ian Johnston's road

It is now being discussed how Miss Williams travelled up and down Mr Johnston’s road in early January, possibly around the 6th.

She said Mr Johnston had told her he was going on holiday around that time.

Miss Williams said she had gone to check to see if what he had said was true.

She said, referring to Mr Johnston, “Telling the truth isn’t necessarily what he does.”

Mr Cole also talked about Miss Walsh purchasing a knife, along with many other items from Tesco in Rowton.

He asked Miss Williams: “Did you know anything of a knife being purchased?”

Miss Williams said: “No.”

This would be funny if it were not so serious. Does she honestly think the Jury will believe her denial of absolutely everything.

Just had a look at that twitter feed ( thanks Tortoise ) a detective agency !! whatever next

eta to add the tweet

Asked about the purchase of two trackers, Williams says she and walsh had a 'hair brained scheme' to set up a 'private detective agency'

BIB clearly Williams doesn't do irony

She is asked, were you ever in possession of the tracker, and did you ever retrieve any date from it? Williams replies 'no' to both

Williams barrister asks her 'were murder plots ever discussed with Katrina Walsh?' "No, not at any time, in any way"

Another diary entry refers to 'seriously talking about getting rid of opponent'. Asked if She ever talked about this, Williams replies no..

..."I can't account for what she (Katrina walsh) writes (in her diary) or why she writes it

Mel Barham ‏@MelBarhamITV 5m5 minutes ago

Williams is asked "was there ever any discussion by way of Hunted, of harming anyone?" "No, no discussion of harming anyone

This just gets more ridiculous, in most murders it is usually a case of "Occam's razor" this one is a case of "you could not make it up"....fascinating.

Williams admits to purchasing a pair of binoculars "as a replacement for some which were lost

Mel Barham ‏@MelBarhamITV 2m2 minutes ago

She admits going to Knutsford on 6th Jan (the day the prosecution allege she went to Sadie Hartley's place of work). Williams denies..

...visiting Sadie Hartley's place of work but says she went for a cream tea as it was her day off

She's giving me a good laugh if nothing else.

Thanks Alyce, just popped away for a shower. If you want me to take over updates just shout. I'll do the tweets to save you doing both.

This sounds a very serious attack though surely. A 13 year old girl abducted for several hours and abused then dumped. Would have happened around 1993-ish ??
I even tried googling it as surely it would be in the local press if nothing else but the details are a bit vague so came up zilch (I might have another try though).

Im in two minds as it isn't the sort of thing you'd make up - but on the other hand ......... Idk.

Wasn't there something similar claimed by Shauna Hoare?

As for SW, I find it quite easy to believe that she would make it up.

Moment accused delivered flowers to Sadie Hartley's house

On her way to Mr Johnston’s home on Holcombe Road, Helmshore, on January 6, Miss Williams said she purchased some binoculars ‘en route’ to replace some that had been lost in the summer.

After the trip to his house she then went to Miss Walsh’s house and then went back home.

The next day flowers were purchased from Tesco in Haslingden, and delivered to Miss Hartley’s address on Sunny Bank Road in Helmshore.

Miss Williams said:

“It was Kit’s idea to deliver the flowers. She wanted to see what Sadie looked like. Kit delivered flowers to the door and I was standing on the pavement around 30 yards away from the house.”
